Jack Reed is out with a shoulder injury for Brisbane, with Greg Eden starting on the wing and Jordan Kahu shifting to centre. Jarrod Wallace starts at prop with Sam Thaiday moving back to the bench.

Iosia Soliola starts at lock for Canberra with Luke Bateman moving back to the bench.
