Like i said he doesn't owe us anything as he has already assisted us Financially but with a Wealth of 10 Billion I would be doing alot more .
Obviously he knows things that are happening behind the scenes and is maybe unimpressed with the things that have transpired over the years.

I'm not sure how much Harry has put into this club and Balmain prior , but to say he owes us or he should be putting in any money is just not right , this guy has truck loads of money But he owes this club nothing , if he puts in $ 10 or $ 1 million that's totally up to him , we should be happy that we have a guy with money who is putting in , the amount is non of any one on this forums buisness , be grateful , it could be Zero

Its the clubs responsibility to operate a financially stable business… Any money from Harry or other TPAs should only act to supplement this, not be the basis for it... Harry doesn't owe the club anything...

My take on the matter is to use his business skills to develop the club (i.e Don't give them fish teach them to fish)
I also like the idea given how he has made his money in the building industry is to build us a centre of excellence in his name. What a lasting legacy to leave us with. Could have in the centre of excellence a part of the gym named after Laurie Nichols.
As others have correctly pointed out he owes us nothing and has probably contributed more than we will ever be privy too.
Great to have someone so successful to be associated with our club along with Michael Clarke, Anthony Field, etc

I reckon Harry has done extremely well selling apartments. That has nothing to do with managing a footy team.
Hopefully he helps us out with some money.

Just because Harry has done well in managing his business it doesn't mean that he would be able to manage a football club well.

We are very fortunate that he is still associated with the club at all - not only have they fritted away the dough he has given them - when they set up the deal for the Rozelle Village / Tigers Leagues club they never even asked if he wanted to have anything to do with it - and that is the business he is in. The bloody thing would have been passed, built and have been operating for years if they had asked him to do it. I would suggest that he has a bad taste left in his mouth.
That is alright though, you think he should put in a few more million per year - he is already contributing to TPA's - how much? I would say it would be substantial, Harry doesn't mess around in thousands.
Australia's richest man doesn't need you to tell him how to spend his money. The arrogance is amazing.

I think that's well said Russell. The fact he was looked over for the Balmain leagues club development would have been a real kick in the guts for him… I know he mentioned it on a prior interview and anther reason why I think Balmain leagues were incredibly incompetent.
He's put in a tonne of money over the years. It seems like Pascoe is doing a greet job pulling him back from the brink of walking away from the club.
I think also what everyone is not thinking about is that while his wealth is at $10 Billion, he may not be overly cash rich. Probably most of this is tied up in property and his business. If he was to sell Meriton, I think you would see a much larger contribution from Harry. Maybe assisting with the Triguboff COE.

His generosity to date I'm sure is greatly appreciated by all at the club as well as fans.
It would be nice however, if it was possible for him to eliminate the debt and give the club the opportunity to start again. The massive debt we face really is loose change to him and lets face it, you can't take it with you when you leave this earth.
