Ellis being an 80 minute player was a welcome surprise when he started with us, and as per what others have said, he has added some massive starch to our defense, and size to our pack.
@Geo. said:What others do you speak….he is as important as Farah and Marshall...
Hits like a rock in defense and does the hard yakka coming out of our end....Often the one to get us going forward when others aren't doing much.....
He is still one of the premier backrowers in the game and could easily handle Prop...
Great buy....best import the Wests Tigers have ever had...IMHO...
Oh...GARETH ARMY...

He never seems to ever be just phoning it in, looks like a complete effort player in ever sense of the word. Always runs the ball at 100% and smashes players in defense.
Always looking to cuts runs through the line - a genuine decoy or line runner - take your pick defensmen!
A total gentleman off the pitch. Always seems to have a smile on his face, and on the odd occasions I've met him, he seems genuinely grateful and impressed with the amount of love his fans give him.
Didn't score a try in his first season with us, not for lack of trying however, but his game was tweaked a bit in 2010\. Unfortunately so far hasn't risen the bar higher which I would have loved to see, although his injuries this year probably have not helped. He still is light years ahead of Burgess though in terms of comparing the imports.
Overall he has exceeded expectations, and has been totally worth it.
BUT
It has been cancelled out by the under-achievement of our other English Experiment - Flanagan. Unless they keep him to throw in the centres (Which Sheens is unlikely to do at this stage, if he's putting Moltzen there) he is a constant lack of impact for a so called forward - 8 pack and all, the guy is simply too small.
