Have we lost a sponsor?

I actually spoke to the owner a while back and they were supposed to be launching like 8 weeks ago. I expect they had issues with the site after launch and are pretending like nothing happened.

We have a habit of finding these type of sponsors going back years.

Reality is that there are the kind of sponsors that you are going to get as non-main jersey sponsors. Companies that are trying to find an easy way to achieve market penetration.

Companies that are already entrenched have little need to pay big money to sponsor a football club.

Snippet from an article I got sent by a mate about this.

Handy Finance was on the Tigers’ jersey during last week’s round 14 win against South Sydney, but the club’s strip was also sporting a taped-over sponsor logo – upper-back sponsor TradeSearch.
>
TradeSearch, a mobile app and online portal for recruiting tradespeople, only partnered with the club in March.
>
Craig Heydon, the Tigers’ senior manager of media and communications, told Sponsorship News that the partnership ended in-line with a short-term contract.
>
“We didn’t have anyone for the back of jersey leading into Round 1 and TradeSearch came on to help us out. But their budget only ran so far and they came off the jersey the other week in line with their original contract,” he said.
>
“TradeSearch was only ever a short term agreement and came to an end a couple of weeks back. We’re currently on the lookout for a replacement.”

Who signs a sponsor for only 3 months? Making us look seriously desperate and unprofessional. If we couldn't find someone who would pay it what it is worth for the season, why not put Beyond Blue on there for the season?

Remember Proton! What ever happened to them?

I think they still make very average vehicles

And that's being kind. Test drove one to get a free jumper once and couldn't wait to get out. Still it's better than the financial advice I got from Radisson Maine but not as good as the petrochemicals I received from JTFA.

[Last two things may not have happened…]
