Have you been vaccinated?

I have not....

My work has advised it MAY become mandatory however waiting on the advice from government.

Work in mental health / community services.

I'm not an anti vaxer, never had a flu shot though and rarely get sick.

I'd be happy to roll the dice and go without but if I don't have a choice, then I'll have to be getting it..

I've had one AZ jab and am in the previously recommended 12 week gap between jabs. The new recommendation is to reduce the gap to 6 weeks which comes up in about 2 weeks. I'm considering whether or not to reduce the gap. I had an off day after the jab but it wasn't too bad at all.

I feel we are getting delayed as people don't trust AZ yet. And ofcourse, no one blames the people not getting it.

1. it's not accepted by USA
2. they misrepresented their efficacy to FDA
3. extremely biased media coverage regarding side effects

Everyone I talk to is waiting for Pfizer and Govt can't secure any doses.

On the flipside, UK has 76% of their population vaccinated through AZ although they still have a lot of cases.

It's all a bit too confusing. How hard would it be to have a central website that controls all bookings? There are different engines taking bookings when making an appointment. The type of vaccination isn't clear, the advice isn't clear and gets changed too often. And again I understand why, because the research is new and there are more trials conducted every week.

same here, i had both doses 12 weeks apart and I am 26 years old. had one off day. Mind you i had my first dose before they said people under 60 shouldn't have it.

I actually got mine done in Hong Kong and they were fantastic with the rollout ( 2 x pfizer ). I think Australia will struggle with the same natural advantage that has kept everyone safe for so long - geography.

I've now got a challenge having moved to Singapore to get them to recognize my vaccination back in HK. I really would have thought they would have had these global standards and recognitions mapped out - perfect for the WHO.

Everyone country, every state on their own. India is using 4 or 5 different vaccinations. Surely there has to be one smart organisation that could standardise it all. We are still a long way away from true globalisation.

You're missing an option:

Yes, but am not able to due to health complications.

that'd be option 2. changed it so can cover it all.

Getting my second AZ jab tomorrow, three weeks early (9 weeks after 1st). Got an email last night from my GP recommending early 2nd dose, so I am doing it.

This. My wife is allergic. I haven’t had it but currently doing the 14 day home detention.

I've had both shots of Pfizer. Got very minor fever, IE I felt hot and then chills, for a few hours on the arvo of each shot and a bit the next day but otherwise fine.

I've had my first AZ, and the 2nd booked in for about 5 weeks time, looking forward to getting it. I live regional NSW so no urgency at this point.

Had some flu symptoms as a reaction to first jab, and not much sleep that night. But slept well the next and came good, some afternoon fatigue for a few days following, not sure if related though.

Had both phizer jabs.

Besides a sore arm I felt nothing with the first.

The day after the 2nd I felt a bit off, but nothing major. Two days after I had pain in my underarm (quite a bit of discomfort) but it went away in about 5 days.
