Hayne, Dugan and Trbojevic injured

Hayne, Dugan and Trbojevic are all injured and if Fox Sports is to be believed, they were all certainties for state of origin. I think this is really going to effect the blues squad. So, what do we do now? Who comes into the team?

One bad game means nothing. If your team is getting pumped by 20 points and your stuck out on the wing there isn;t much you can do, he still tried his heart out.

What about all the previous games when Nofoaluma has excelled?
If Hayne, Dugan & Trbojevic are injured at origin selection and David is fit, then I would select him. I don't see who else there is to pick that is in great form.

I know what you mean but, unfortunatley that's as good as we'll get. Hopefully Hayne and Dugan pull up good. It doesn't sound like Trbojevic is a chance though.

I know what you mean but, unfortunatley that's as good as we'll get. Hopefully Hayne and Dugan pull up good. It doesn't sound like Trbojevic is a chance though.

Its a shame because a 2 or 3 weeks ago the NSW backline looked very intimidating, full of class and in amazing form.

That will be about the best of it I reckon, Tacky. The centre pairing are actually quite strong, Morris hasn't done much all season, but always aims up in Origin so he wouldn't let us down. Hayne will be missed, but Dugan is made of porcelain and probably wouldn't last long in the game anyway. Feel for Trbojevic though, he's a real talent and I would've liked to have seen him run around in Origin.

As for Nofo, as much as I love him playing for us, his defense needs to improve drastically before being considered for the Origin arena - Qld would put 50 on us just running down his side! :laughing:

Agree, would've really liked to see Trbojevic play and Nofoaluma is not Origin ready.

It looks like Hayne and Dugan will be good to play though, which is good news. I don't think Leilua and Bird are as dangerous attacking and as solid defending as Hayne and Dugan.

Leilua badly out of form, B. Morris not much better, but is proven at SOO. J.Morris is in great form and should be considered.

Queensland's back five are going to be better than anything NSW will be able to trot out given the injuries:
