I’ve probably got four more years, maybe,” he said.

Hayne is doing all he can to keep fit while he hopes to find a club, training with sprint guru Roger Fabri alongside NSW winger Josh Addo-Carr at Centennial Park in Sydney.

Fabri says he has noticed a change in Hayne during his sprint and conditioning drills.

“He’s getting a little itchy now,” Fabri said. “It’s the first time I’ve ever seen him a little bit itchy. It’s like, ‘Oh, what’s going on?’

“So maybe he’ll come back with that real big eye of the tiger. It might be a gamble worth taking.”

I’d take him on $500k , 2 year contract and play him in the centres. Was parras best towards the need of the year.

That would be paying overs!
I would only sign him if he came on incentive based contract and he came motivated …... but I can’t see that happening.
I think Pascoe’s “we have cape space” comments were more aimed at putting the fire under another potential signing rather than ever considering Hayne at WT scenario.

I would take Hayne on. 2 year deal I still think it will be his last 2 years so he would need to stand up Week in Week out , we also must remember we have not made the finals for a long time and almost got there this season , almost is not good enough , we need to,get experience in to the side , we need a large Forward and a Centre big time , we have purchased 2 young guys but that's not enough , Haynes experience along with a seasoned Prop will add. Much needed muscle and skill , Hayne can turn a game on his own so playing with Brooks , Mbye , Thompson , would be good for our chances as we start to get speed into our side

Haynes issue isnt ability though it is waning now due to age..

Its his attitude

It was evident at the Titans where he was on the salary that most would only dream about and the performance didnt even come close.

A Massive No Thanks

Perfect for the Dogs IMO

if klemmer goes, he could be a alternative i suppose, as long as he is able to accept a reasonable salary

He is a unit and massively powerful…. If his ego and attitude is corrected I wouldn't say no

Sitting in limbo, realising he isn’t king turd anymore might peg down his ego a little lol..

Must be hard not being the IT boy anymore for him, I wouldn’t say no if he’s humbled..

He didn’t sound very humble on the news segment. Still all about him and what he is worth.

Its not his job to be humble.

He has two jobs.

1 Play good football

2 Do whatever he can to get himself a good contract.

Only in Australia do we judge our sports stars on their ability to be humble.

I for one have had enough, just give me good footballers!

This is like the time Rona was sending us secret messages. Where there's smoke there's fire.

Hayne's management's plan

Drop a club's name in the press , give it three days to see what happens , then move onto the next club

Currently at the Bulldogs

If the wooden spooners reckon he is not worth keeping then why on earth would we want him?He is the exact opposite of value for money.

You are of course correct. However this guys attitude stinks. You will never have any guarantee that his mind will be on what he is being paid big money todo. He is off with the fairies. IMO you will not get your ROI and he is certainly no longer worth what he is asking.

I don't care about being humble, I loved when Benji seemed something else =p Hayne looks like a shadow of himself before he left NRL though, his best days are behind him. Would love to be wrong.

I’d take a gamble on him. We have a well known hard task master coming in as coach. A full pre season and who knows what he might deliver.
