Just something different to talk about for a a while.

Great player, will never ever take anything away from him as a player. But man, could he make it anymore obvious that he thinks of himself as a God. Its all about him, any time he scores he makes sure to reference the plane with his arms out stretched, after a win stands there like a hero with his arms raised towards the crowd in a ''look at me look at me'' way. The best one was Game 2 this yr when NSW wrapped up the series, Qld were attacking on the siren, put a kick through and he cleaned it up at the back. Instead of just running or booting into touch, he made a point of running back 20 metres over the dead ball line, but that wasn't enough, he had to run all the way to the fence where he stood there, arms raised like a God as he was getting mobbed. The guy is an absolute tosser the way he carries himself, its all about him.

Surely i'm not the only who sees it?

End rant.

He's earnt the right to be a lair….it was a match winning try, big play

He seems pretty humble in interviews

Its showmanship, a bit of entertainment...its good for the game, hes a brilliant player and if hes doing this regulalrly hes on fire and its good to watch except against us

How could you not love me Happy?

If he played for us, while i'd probably grow to like him, i could never see myself liking that part of his game. Doesn't matter how good you are, i don't see the appeal of a guy thinking of himself as a God. He's his own biggest fan, wouldn't surprise me if he had posters of himself on his wall.

I don't mind it at all. He is very down to earth and to me I don't look at it as showing off. Go on you tube and check out some of the soccer players that score some amazing goals, many have similar characteristics. My young bloke would ask why is he doing that, I'd tell him he feels like he's walking on air, his soul is glowing and right now he's in a world of his own feeling unbelievable and nothing can beat that feeling. Mate I'd liove to go where the superstars go, you can only imagine how that would feel. Tell you what, when you see them in that trance, just watch out when they land back to earth, unstoppable for the rest of the game.

One thing that bugs me at the moment is the way Woods has changed his attitude. I love the bloke big time, but every since he hit the rep scene he's changed. Very noticeable when the cameras on him, the only thing missing is the little head wobble but he's not far of it. I hope this is not another case of the Benji's or Robbie's. Has anyone else noticed a change.

I always thought hayne was a tosser until I met him at ctown stadium last year. He was an absolute champion, had no dramas stopping for a photo and even had a convo with my young bloke and actually seemed interested in what he had to say.

I'm a fan.
He's a super star player..

Agree though.
Wasn't he in the media talking about trying out for NFL clubs?
And stated he's been to the US hanging out with NFL players and training with them.
Yeah, cool, dude.

Mate, they just won Origin after 8 years of Qld rubbing their faces in the dirt - I would've run to the crowd and done the exact same thing. Throwing your arms up in the air like that is just what sportspeople do when they celebrate a big victory and I think he was acknowledging the long suffering NSW crowd for their support too.

Disagree Flip. Mortimer in 85 falling to the ground was genuine emotion. Hayne just reeked of being a glory hound.

We never rubbed your faces into the dirt Flip

We could only find cow pats

No issues with what he does at all. Adds a bit to the game imo.

The guy can turn a game with his running and he is a great athlete.

This article explains the way Jarryd Hayne acts:

As for Woods, I've noticed his change in persona too… I don't like it
