Whilst we are being objective, let's consider some of the other facts on public record.

Lee H, a lawyer, this week stated that factions of the HBG openly said to him they want to bring back the magpies and disband the joint venture and connection with Balmain.

So would it not be naive to assume that we can fully trust HBGs version/interpretation of events?

To double down, I would claim the HBG board would be the only collection of idiots dumb enough
to think they could wash this over by appointing Ben Elias.

At the same time, if this is true I am amazed at how bad the HBG are at their jobs. Create a problem out of nothing by sacking directors, leading to your CEO quitting and then, to try to fix your own huge mess, extending a coach who hasn't really shown he's any good. He oversaw two wooden spoons and a 13th place finish. Yet another sign that the board are hopeless.

The place is back to leaking like a [This word has been automatically removed]ing sieve. Under Richo and the independents everything was airtight and now stories get leaked, public backlash, club changes tact leaks another story…….

Back to the good ol days of West Tigers governance under HBG.

It shows you how tone deaf and reckless they really are. They thought they could sack the board and oust Richo with minimal backlash (seemingly).

The story leaks about Benji being replaced, didn’t realise it would have a negative reaction so they leak a story about Benji being extended potentially screwing the club in a different direction.

I mean it’s so stupid and inept it’s pretty much unfathomable.
