HBG, Independent Directors Sacked

You keep yapping away and ignoring relevant questions from people.

Out of curiosity, what's your connection to HBG? I mean, it's pretty obvious the connection is there.
If I've missed questions that need answering- I am sorry. Had a few things thrown at me the last few days.

Absolutely no connection to HBG. Live in Qld, former Balmain fan.

Ask weststigers- he'll tell you I don't even understand how the HBG thing really works.

There is no agenda other than- people are acting ABSOLUTELY RIGHT with very little information.

And when questioned- the most common response is some kind of abuse.

Have your rally/march/Wests Tigers Fan Party. Rage on.

But maybe find out why the NRL allowed HBG to take control. Or why O'Farrell etc are happy coming back to a HBG run board. Or why Richo isn't coming back. Or if there was anything in the original statement from HBG that was of importance.

None of these things are known. But we rage on.

Sweet.

That's what you go the NRL with. Here's a better option.

And right now, they contribute more than any other 'owners'...
Can you back that statement up?

Give me the break down on what HBG contribute to the joint venture compared to other NRL club owners

A few days ago you were justifying HBG’s decision to sack the independent board …any abuse with that statement?

Then why would the independents come back at all? Doesn't that seem strange? They must know what they are stepping into.
I see that as their way of saying up yours, you were unjustified in sacking us in the first place but here we are back again.

Just showing a bit of defiance and hanging on to a hope that miraculously something else may happen to turn things around and with the hope that these HBG clowns manage to blatantly stuff something up again bringing the wrath of some controlling body down on them in the hardest way possible.

We live in hope and I'm very disappointed that the 4th Independent has walked away, but who knows what is going on in the back ground.

Did I justify it?

Or ask if there might be a reason for it? Offer reasons they might have?

Everyone assumes I'm 100% on board with removing the old board members.

All I've done is try to get past the rage and ask why.

you were trying to explain the unexplainable …you put more effort into it then HBG did…

Why would you even bother ?

That is possible.

I can't see someone like O'Farrell being bothered with being that petty though.

Agree 100% with you- the 4th independent, or 1 less HBG board member- would be huge.

And the right way to go.

The NRL don't have the legal power to enforce anything on HBG, that's the issue.

What they have done is scare the crap out of them and effectively force their hand to reinstate the independent directors. I don't know the finer details of it, but I know for a fact this is what happened.

And I'm not sure why you are mocking the rally..

Sure, it isn't the formal process you follow to acquire a business, but it creates headlines.. it places more focus on the HBG... If they cop enough heat publicly and it starts impacting them on a daily basis - then their position on selling might change.

So you can mock the passionate fans as much as you want, but if they continue to apply the heat over an extended period - it can help push the needle.

If there were protests daily outside your companies office, it'd be naive to think that it has no impact on the organisation and its people.. you'd have to agree with that, right?
