It would have been a very difficult day out for the Tigers given the tragedy surrounding Farah's mother. Unfortunately the Roosters showed up to play and had a red hot go, while the Tigers were just never in the contest in the first half which really killed off any chance they had to win.

Hopefully the team can rebound for next week, but the Knights will be desperate also.

That minutes silence was very moving…and despite what clowns like Golden say, this had an effect on the side. In the end they still dug deep and scored 5 tries but it wasnt their day. I suggest they all go and have a few beers, regroup and set the targets on Newcastle. This loss is only a blip on the radar.

Watching the replay now, I can't help but think "what if" in regards to BMM having the ball stolen by Mini as he crossed the line and Heighno's forward pass to Lote early in the second half.

I'm proud of the boys today regardless. Going into the game minus Sironen, Fulton and then Farah ontop of that was disuptive enough, then with the tragic passing of the captains mother. I normally take a loss pretty hard, but today its more of a heavy feeling, like a sadness. I'm sure this will strengthen the group further and will be but a speed bump on our way to the finals. My thoughts and prayers go out to Robbie and his family. RIP Sonia.

At the end of the day you dont see games where props score tries unless the other side isnt fully having a go. Thats what I saw today with the Roosters fowards scoring all of their tries. Will be interesting to hear what Sheens thinks in the presser. For mine this is a throw away game that is no indication of our true form.

Im willing to put this down as an off day due to the circumstances. It's easy to say they are professionals an should of switched on but u can't inthis situation. And for people who continually say benji and Robbie hate each other maybe they can see now just how close those 2 actually are.

It was a shocking performance today but losing Farah on game day due to such sad news and having Ellis and Fulton on the sidelines and playing against a team we have struggled agaisnt historically has made it understandable.

We should bounce back agsint Newcastle imo

A lot of factors came together today that contributed to our loss - the Roosters determination to turn their season around after weeks of poor form and much criticism; the loss of key players - Sironen and Fulton and Farah at the last minute; obviously the death of Robbie's mum, especially on the day of the game - it would have still been raw in their heads and hearts. I would've added the whole blow up between the Roosters and the refs during the week also, especially after the start, but the Roosters ended up being penalised a lot as well, so I don't think it had any bearing in the end - they refereed both sides equally.

Apart from the 10 or so minutes when we were coming home strong, the Roosters goal line defence was very good too. We peppered it quite a bit at stages in both halves, but couldn't get across when normally we would. The Roosters deserved their win today. I'm just glad we narrowed the gap somewhat, although that last try stung!
