True. It's a waste. And because it is a waste it is actually detrimental to the team.

It's such a shame because I remember him breaking the line repeatedly in the mid 2000's. Wish he still had that pace and fire. Perhaps putting him on the bench (like someone said earlier) might stoke that fire.

Yep that is how I feel unfortunately. Heino trys to get the quick play the ball and sacrifices any metres on his charge. Unfortunately, the rules no longer allow players to get quick play the balls this way.

I hate to admit it, but I also feel like a hit up from Heighno is a complete waste of a hit up. I HATE that he always seems to take one hit up whenever we are on the opposition's try line. All it does is seem to allow them time to reform their defense.

He's all heart and I REALLY don't like to criticise a bloke who tries so hard….............but he's just not impacting on the opposition at all. He was completely out of his depth for England in those rep games and he's been pretty much innefective in the NRL for a while now also.

I hate writing this as he's been a great clubman.

He is most effective off the bench. Every game he started on their added an immediate impact when he came on. I remember rabs getting excited and giving him a wrap everytime he touched the ball. He is a big lump of a bloke. He should be running harder than what he does at the moment.

He needs to stop doing the Fred Flinstone ten pin bowling tippie toe shuffle in attack.
He did effect a few good tackles against the Raiders - and with the rest of the pack not exactly shining it's most probably enough to keep him there.
