Heighno............

I don't want to knock him as he's been a great club man and even blind freddy can see his form is attrociously bad…...

To make it simple, can anyone see even ONE reason he should remain in the team? When Bell was lock, our D was so much better. Heighno is the biggest liability in the NRL on offense, but now even his D is poor. It's painful to watch a bloke so out of his depth. The Poms realised it quickly and dropped him from their test team........Sheens doesn't appear willing to do the same.

I know we've all said it before, but it just gets worse.

His cover defense is TERRIBLE.

He kills the attack.

It's week after week after week.

I hate knocking the bloke, but he's dead set not up to it. Nex year Alexi? He's here until 2014 and it seems Sheens simply will never drop him. We won 7 straight and he still put Heighno straight in and has cut the role of Bell massively since.

Hino should take a look at himself and put his hand up and say coach I am playing shit please drop me I am playing as bad as benji but we all know he is your love child and he will never go nowhere.

30 minutes of really good football from Heighno IMHO.

Not an 80 minute performer now though, especially when we have Bell in the side

But these days 30 mins from a back rower is not good enough.

It is a decent first stint though

I agree. And its not like our use of the bench is traditional anyway (leave forwards off for 60 minutes, don't put one of the players on). Lets face it, If sheens wasn't so stubborn and didn't leave Heighno on for 80, the last few years could of been very different.

I.E

We don't lose the Souths game this year as a tiring Heighno doesn't get caught slowly retreating at the death. The same could be said for the Roosters sam in 2010 where it was none other than Heighno who was caught out late for being two slow around the ruck and I think Jake Friend strolled right through.

Heighno is past it. Its not what he's doing wrong, its what he can't do. And he's even bombing a few attacking raids, one last night, one vs the cowboys, one vs the roosters. GEt a good mobile second rower out there and we score 3 tries in the last month. Sheens put him on the market last year and there was obviously no interest.

It's been said a thousand times on this forum - there is no room for Fulton and Heigno in the same starting line up. I know we've been without Ellis for far too long, but Bell and BMM should be getting a lot more game time and Heigno at lot less! He just has so little to offer except a bit of graft - which you need in the middle part of the game when its a grind. That's when he would be at his most valuable. He's no longer a starter IMO

I rate pettybourne and Thompson as better value players. Rhino is a one hit wonder and that was in 05\. I don't dislike him but ever since Rhino & Bell swapped we all of a sudden forgot how to win. But I must admit Rhino has a tiger spirit.

Sheens stated publicly last year that Heino would be a bench player this year, not sure if that was before Dwyers injury to be fair. I have always said that he and Fulton can't be in the same team but I feel Liam is in career best form while Heino has hit the wall and I can't see him turning it around. BMM's progress is being stalled by Heinos extra minutes.

Absolutely agree mate…...Heighno and Liam together = we are way, way too small and lack impact.

One HAS to go and it shouldn't be Liam.

13\. Fulton
12\. Big Ben
11\. Blair

That should be our back row until Ellis is back.

I am sick of Sheens and his "no one in the inner circle gets dropped" policy.
