Heigno's performance

The thing I would be most worried about is that Heighno was dominated in three consecutive runs by little Ben Jones. Certainly his work ethic cannot be queried, but to be put on your backside by one of their smaller guys is worrying.

i think the tackles you were referring to was from Shackleton because i remember when he ran the ball for a span of 5 minutes, he was always pushed back. And i am pretty sure that was Shackleton. but there might have been another instance of this happening from Jones.
He does offer very little in terms of attack, but if fit, i don't think Sheens will leave him out.

What I saw was from Jones, defending at left centre. Commentators called it and too small to be Shackleton.

it was ben jones, i was SMH at how he got dominated in every tackle in the second half

Inept performace…..Did you watch the game....Heigno was much better this week ran with more venom....18 HU for 112 mtrs..pulled off some good hits forced an error didn't miss a tackle....

Yes he got forced back on occassion they all did.....

Ellis had 14.....

Gee anderson your looking rather foolish,,,,,,,

"look foolish" is a ridiculous understatement! This imbecile carries on like this with lines like "it seems like…" every second post because he would not recognise a decent footballer if it punched him in the head (which may come his way if he actually went to a game and spouted his ignorant nonsense)!

The kid (or should I say idiot) Master Silva has clearly never played the game in Sri Lanka.

Check your facts before you post again Anderson as I am going to single you out for correction at every chance I get!

Funny….I cant remember a time when so many players that I rate have come under so much stick....

Atm Rhino and Ryan seem to be copping it left right and centre and IMO they are great servants of our club.

I just dont see what many others on here are seeing.

Im confused.

We also agree about the value in bringing back Liam - Daine being a top prospect but becoming an overrated pain in the arse – Gallant needing to be re-signed - the value of good club men - and Rob Lui's call-up being a calculated risk and an exciting call from the coach!

As for Beau Ryan - as most of us know Hodgo rated him highly - and that should be enough to suggest he is at least a decent 1st grader. I still have **EVERY** game the Wests Tigers have played on tape/DVD & we had some appalling wingers over the years!!

As you & I know Lee Murphy takes the cake - but the likes of Kaufusi (two good games & nothing after) - Milford (sorry Laloa!) - Miles – Carlaw - Rieck (could not catch a high or rolling ball) all showed glaring shortcomings in their games for us (and people want to sh*t on Fitzy who won a comp????)!

I must say that Beau is not close to being my favourite player & while he makes positional & defensive mistakes he is wholehearted with good hands.

To any reasonable observer he is playing as well as alleged young stars David “Wolfman” (or should I say “hands like feet”) Williams – Antonio Winterstein – Akuila Uate - Steve Turner & Blake Ferguson (who has put on two freakish tries this season – but so has Beau with his leaping bat-back & his inside flick for tries earlier this year)!

PLUS HIS WORK RATE IN ATTACK (esp dummy half running) WOULD DOUBLE ANY OF THOSE BLOKES!

What the morons don’t seem to understand is that no team can afford two star wingers & we have Nella - the best in the comp on one wing (aside from Israel) & a worker on the other (& his yardage work is better than Fitzy’s ever was in the middle of the field). 2005 – one star winger in Richards – one toiler in Fitzy!

Bryson Goodwin had nothing last year at Cronulla. He how has a decent 5/8th & centre inside him to set up tries and is being claimed as a star. Beau has equal talent!

As for how any ignorant mutt could attack Heigho (our most consistent & committed player on-&-off field for the past 5 years) – it remains beyond my belief!

Heighno hasn't had a good year though has he.

He has been one of our best players over the last couple of years however and does deserve a break especially considering he has had injuries this year.

Iam sorry to say Heighington has not had a good at all he is not the player he was reached his peak 05 06 07 as for the last 2 seasons he has slowed down takes the ball standing still an easy mark off loading skills gone head down bum up. He has been a stella player for the tigers and it pains me to say this but at this time i would prefer galea
