With Chris Sandow being dropped to NSW Cup this weekend, thought I would start a thread to see if anyone knew who was the highest paid park footballer? Maybe we could put a list together of stars who were dropped for whatever reason. Bit of Saturday night trivia for you all. And up the mighty Tigers for tomorrow arvo.

If you take the NRL out of the equation then it could be Pat Richards at Wigan in 2006 where Brian Noble for reasons known only to himself took a dislike to Pat and refused to give him a run until injury after injury got him a game.

Ah Joe Galuvao, went from being a Premiership winner at the Panthers to playing for Norths, Russell Crowe had such a low opinion of him he suggested to Joe that he give away footy to become a missionary!, and he's not a Mormon!.
Joe leaves the Bears and finds a home at Manly and becomes a dual premiership winner, great judgement Rusty.
And on the subject of Russell's, Russell Mullins in the late 70's left the Magpies to join Penrith and spent most of the time on the sideline before the Panthers reluctantly gave him a run, on a pro rata basis he would have been on good a good contract as Penrith threw lots of money at players in those days (with no success).

To keep the Parramatta recruitment team on their toes,I'd like to add Big Carl Webb to their list. I reckon he would have been on $180 to $220 K and from memory he started from interchange twice in 2011 before deciding to retire.

Think he had to play for Windsor, his fine was massive. Had to hand out thousands of tickets bought with his own money.

Have we forgotten Cronulla's big signing in 2010 from Manly? Adam Cuthbertson, I think he went from Premiership winner to Gymea Gorilla in 45 minutes from Pittwater.

Hahahaha the Parramatta theme is quite funny. Can add Krisnan Inu to the list. He's playing quite a bit for the Vulcans these days. George Rose has been in reserve grade all year except this week.

Josh Morris from the Dogs was dropped to NSW Cup last year too.
