Almost 12 months after the death of Jacin Sinclair, here's a reminder of the talent he had. Hope the young Tiger fans who never saw him enjoy.

a very Bonstonkerish Clip mate -

And by that I mean Awesomely done, and a tasteful tribute.

By gawd he was big for a centre - made the rest of our outside backs look like midgets.

That was a tremedous video - great work!!

Some of those Balmain games really bring some memories and it was really good that Jacin's talents were highlighted in this way.

There's a Jacin Sinclair tribute page on Facebook - I think set up by his family, only fitting that the video gets posted there.

Thanks again and well done!

Being an old Magpie supporter, I didn't get to see a lot of Jacin Sinclair, so thanks for putting this video together, KS. He was a wonderful talent, I'm surprised he didn't go on to higher reps honours.

Thanks KS. A wonderful talent. One of the most disappointing things to occur in the mid-90s Tigers side was the failure of Jacin to kick on.

There hasnt been too many players that have excited me in coming into grade as much as Sinclair did.

Good work.

The Jacin Sinclair story is a sad one but those highlights really show the enjoyment he gave to many league fans, myself included.

He was one of my favorites and I was shattered when Junior let him go in early 94, it was just a couple of days after MG. (if anyone knows why he was cut can you PM me?)

I remembered being really excited that I read he was trialling for a place back at the Tigers in 97 (I think it was).

in the early 90's (91 or 92) when I was in my early teens, I called out to him before the city firsts played (there was only a few in the crowd at that stage being a few hours before kick off on a friday) he spotted me in my tigers jersay, he came up to me and my mate at the end of the game and shook my hand, signed my program and spent a good 5 minutes chatting to me and my mate. He was so good to us, that those around us assumed we were connected to him, it was such a good gesture. He was one my favourites for years.
So talented, unfortunately too many inner demons. A sad, sad tale.

Enjoyed watching the highlights, bought back some great memories.

I went to a number of games with my old boy back in the early nineties (I was only about seven or eight,) and Dad always used to say Jacin was one of the best players who could pick and exploit the gap.

He definitely made Balmain a better side being on the field, such a tragedy he passed on so young.

We wooden spooned in 1994 if i'm not mistaken… we missed him more than we thought we would..

Yeah we sure did, bad year but you know what that team was never really flogged - they had plenty of spirit.

On YouTube I have some of the 93 game against Souths at the SCG - there's a classic Jacin Sinclair moment in that game, can anyone spot it?

Wasn't the biggest fan of Sinclairs ,probably because he helped touch the Magpies up a few times
Slightly off topic wasn't it great with the old Saturday arvo football with Warren Boland providing the colour commentary For my Tigers brothers (and sisters) he still is a Saturday commentator in the Qld Cup on ABC TV

Fantastic Tribute, always thought he was a good player. It was a shame he died so young. I can't remember what happen to him though, can anyone enlighten me?

I have in front of me the team line up for Balmain NSWRL First Division April 10 1999 vs North Sydney Bears. How is this for a First Division Team:

Shannon Nevin
Laloa Milford
Garth Wood
Jacin Sinclair
Wade Rothery
Shayne Dunley
James Webster
James Gannon
Ben Galea
Michael Ostini
Luke O'Donnell
Richard Villisanti
Troy Wozniak

Some impressive names on the bench too including Kyle Leuluai and Nathan Webber.

Actually, the team looks better than the Firsts team for that weekend. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
