Hindmarsh's Opinion

yea he is entitled to his opinion - one thing for sure though the Tigers have a better chance of being there than Parraintatters.

I think that was more of him being upset that we lost to cowboys 29-0 in 05 after being minor premiers. Obviously he thought we deserved to be in the grandfinal and was sour about it.

It's really strange, but i didnt know that alot of tigers fans had such a passionate dislike for parra. On our forum all the bagging out is done on teams like Bulldogs Manly , Storm and Dragons and theres always been a respect factor from most fans towards the tigers. However, coming on here ive realised alot of you really really dont like parra.

i can tell you its there for me. at school in the ninties most of my mates were parra with a few tigers and everytime we played it was on. we were on the wrong end most times and copped plenty of stick not just when we played them but all year as we (balmain at the time) were always down the bottom. im not saying you are but in my experiences you only hear from parra supporters when they are winning, which also got me and my tigers mates as we prided ourselves on turning up and cheering every week no matter what. i live and work closer to parra (ermo) than tiger territory too so it was always the local derby factor for me and i was surrounded by eels, and i loved giving to my mates on the rare occasions we beat them. i don't know you guys rub me up the wrong way even though alot of good mates of mine go for them and me living ten mins from parra stadium
 
as for hindy's quote, yeah, he's entilited to his opinion. he was asked, he didn't just blurt it out. and i prob agree with him. we still have mountains of improvement left in us IMO. and when we click we can eeaaasliy win the comp
 
If he spent more time preventing his crack hanging out and less time bagging teams in the press then maybe I'd have a little more time for his comments.
It's been 24 weeks now and we are 2nd. That isn't a fluke. We are title contenders. Parra were title pretenders.
 
would you baggers rather he lie and say he thinks we will win it if he doesn't? i don't mind listening to genuine answers rather than all the well worn cliches. its upto the Wests Tigers to prove him wrong now.

its hardly worth worrying about those comments but.. hindmarsh certainly knows what it takes to not win a title so he might be well placed to comment.

He was hardly bagging anyone out, its just the DT blowing things out of proportion. He merely just answered the question given to him.

Alexaki, when you are in a Team Environment like Origin, you need to believe in the players around you. Coming out and stating you would prefer a different player is not an option. In fact, if a player did come out and bag there own player, there is every chance they would be booted quick smart. Hindmarsh has been around a long time and has represented his State and Country with pride. He was simply showing his confidence in the Selectors and the Team selected. Ask Benji if he would prefer Cooper Cronk over Robert Lui… Im certain he would say NO (even though he is lieing)

Further to his comments about the Tigers, I played alot of games of football and have lost my fair share. I never considered the team which just beat me as being better, just lucky... In fact, I remember a Home Game when the siren went when we were 2 points behind, and I stormed off the field and abused the Club Official for sounding the Siren, because we had the ball in attack... Sometimes you just want another 5 minutes to prove you can beat them. Losing isnt fun!!!
 
I for one am glad this fat heap has come out and said this. If Hindflop had come out and said 'Tigers are good', what is to be gained from that? Yet he comes out and bags them, and we are a team that thrives on that sorta thing.

Arrogant players, arrogant administration and bandwagon fans despite that fact they haven't done anything for a quarter of a century.

Not alot to like.
 
its amazing how every year every player and every so called expert say that the dragons will win the comp yet they contimue to lose to the raiders and storm every year and will choke every year
 
I fail to see the issue here, as he said, he was asked the question and he answered it. Roosters towelled them up a few weeks ago, would it be sour grapes if he said they wouldn't make it? What about the Titans? they towelled Parra up too, sour grapes on that one too?

So what though? He doesn't respect the Tigers, good for him.

He is still an excellent player, because he has got an opinion we don't like shouldn't really call for comments like "your fat and should retire". Bit excessive.

I'm sure a whole heap of players wouldn't rate the Tigers as winning the premiership, ffs we've only really had 2 strong wins in the last 2 weeks. Chillax?
