Wests Tigers Holden Cup Coach Chris Hutchison has named his 23-man squad to take on the North Queensland Cowboys this Saturday for their Round 6 clash.

Kickoff for the match is at 5:15pm from 1300 SMILES Stadium in Townsville.

After suffering a close loss to the Dragons last week, Hutchison will welcome back Jai Doolan in the halves for Saturday's game, with Josh Bermingham dropping back to the bench.

Wests Tigers come into the match looking to end a run of four consecutive defeats, while the Cowboys are yet to lose in Holden Cup this year with four wins and a postponed game.

The fixture also sees Wests Tigers Holden Cup side return to 1300 SMILES Stadium for the first time since going down to the Cowboys 32-16 in an Semi Final last season.

Love a good underdog win.

Cows haven't dropped a game this season and they're at home. We'll get smacked by 60, our boys can't tackle.

Pap not playing. Finalised team below…

Mikaele has very big wraps on him and he's straight into the starting front row spot as a first year NYC player so he must be going alright. Ain't heard a peep on the forum though. Anyone seen him go round yet this year?

Edit: Interesting. Any reason given?

29 gone and Cowboys lead 6-4\. Surprised we're hanging in so far.

58 gone, still 16-8 but apparently the Tigers are defending very well today.

59'— TRY TIME! Mikaele offloads and Corey Kurnoth crashes over next to the posts! Higgins converts and we now trail 16-14!

63'— TRY TIME! Grubber is deflected in the in-goal and we're first to react! Higgins converts and we now lead the Cowboys 20-16!
