Holden Cup Team Announcement: Round 7

Wests Tigers Media
Tue 12th April, 04:45PM

Wests Tigers NYC Holden Cup Head Coach Willie Peters has named his side to take on the Melbourne Storm for their Round 7 match this Sunday, April 17.

Kickoff for the match is scheduled for 1:45pm AEDT at Leichhardt Oval.

After maintaining their position inside the top eight with a 30-30 draw against the Knights last week, Peters welcomes back several key players for this Sunday's clash against the Storm including co-captain Junior Tatola and representative forward Ray Stone, as well as fullback Luke Sharpe following his call-up to the Club's Intrust Super Premiership side.

Young gun Jacob Liddle has again been named following his two-try performance last weekend, with co-captain Jack Wheelhouse to come off the interchange bench.

Wests Tigers Holden Cup side will be looking to make it three games in a row undefeated this week against a Storm side that has only won one of it's last five Holden Cup matches.

Has anyone asked Jesse Jackson who's his preferred candidate in the US presidential election?

I do a thread on another forum about Brit players in OZ. I notice Niall Walker from Stanningley, near Bradford is in the Tigers NYC squad but not named in the team. Where do the spare NYC players play when they're not in the Tigers team?

I know his brother plays Ron Massey for Hills District.

Did anyone see last week's game? How on earth did we go playing 3 hookers? Liddle should be practically an 80 min player at this level so don't know how we can try fit them all in.

He would either be in Ron Massey too, or Sydney Shield.

Updated team, no Felise?…

Or Sironen or Jackson. Jackson and Sirro are probably injured but Felise playing first grade (or at least 18th man) would not be surprising. He's very good.

I wouldn't be surprised if Felise debuts in FG this arvo given our injury concerns and lack of front row rotation with Buchanan now out with a knee injury.

Any updates fellas? I got money on the tiges

Tigers just scored.
We lead 18-6

Anyone know what goes on with this #14 for us?
Deadset looks like he'd be lucky to be 40kg.

Tries to Sharpe, Mapesone, Kharwin, McCormack and Suli now - we lead 22-6 just before halftime.

Sharpe is having a Tedesco of a performance. Killing it.
He's tearing Melbourne's defence apart with ease.
