Look forward to seeing us play here…I think parking may be limited, reckon theyll really push the public transport option
I think many will be surprised how this new stadium can be themed for each tenants home games

What would be the go? Train to Parra, then maybe shuttle buses out of the station?

Yeah I spose so….theres the ferry too which is slow and dependant on tides sometimes doesnt go all the way up to parra

We have discussed this today will go by train ,hopefully shuttle or walk not that far ..parking would be a drama in the streets .Public transport I reckon eventually a light rail station there but a way of one thinks.

That would be the way to go. Done that a number of times when working not far from the stadium. Hassle free. Plus the shuttle is free for those that might not know or never used it.

Will be interesting to see a comparison of membershiop prices next year compared to ANZ
Hopefully they include rail travel as they have done the last few years

At this stage not much reciprocal action at WSS just Parra ..when Souths move there an extra would think .

What happens to our ANZ deal, we still had 5 years to run on that, can anyone share some light on the finer deals. I think it’s a good arrangement. Plus the country Tamworth game plus a possible double header at Perth. Happy days.

You started a thread yourself that Souths have accepted to play there for 2 years…. And we missed out because of this

Dogs will go there too you I'm sure... Where else will they go?

Bus if you like, but it is an easy walk - max 20 minutes.

What is the age limit for family of 4? anybody know?

There are stacks of alfresco eateries and bars on the way back to the station, a 1200m flat walk thru the park and across the bridge over the river…no one has to go close to Parra Leagues if you dont want to its the other direction

I don't think they're wil be reciprocal at all. Any game involving both tenants wil get close to capacity next year. It was a different story at an 80k stadium.

I thought Souths were going there in 2020 could be wrong …as above the reciprocal deal could be a thing of the past at WSS .

Yea they are going in 2020 whilst ANZ is getting redone.

OK my mistake it seems ANZ renos dont commence until late next year…in that case it might only be us parra and WSW there

If that’s the case, how did we manage to broker a deal that allows us to play there from next year?

Good management that is on the ball.

We signed up for 4 years and the same crooks own both stadiums.

My point is though ANZ could have requested we play there next year as the work won’t commence till 2020\. But I can imagine the government being more satisfied with having a larger number of teams using the new stadium builds positive publicity and kind of justifies there decision to rebuild in the first place.
Sounds like Souths will only use it during the ANZ rebuild, not sure what the dogs are doing but we on the other hand seem to have shifted our ANZ deal to WSS which creates the chance for it to be our long term stadium solution.

Souths made a call on their home ground 12 years ago and will no doubt keep ANZ at its home ground. They're a well run club.
We still don't know where our future is.

True.
With our crowd numbers WSS might just suit us to a tee and could end up being a long term solution. At this stage we are only playing the Eels at their homeground. That’s 1 out of 12 where we possibly lose a home ground advantage. Already better than the 3 games this year and last year. With us getting there a year before Souths / dogs we have a chance to build our own territory advantage for their home games as well.
