Home Final at SFS

Tickets will go on sale to Ticketed Club Members of the Wests Tigers and their match opponents from 9am on Monday, September 6, and to the general public from 9am on Tuesday, September 7.

Opposition supporters should NOT be able to buy tickets at the same time as our members, IMO.

I agree, the home members should get first crack.

I agree too. They should have to wait until the general public can get tickets.

Your juvenile ridiculous propositions to counter my point are highly amusing, and predictable

How else would someone counter such a ridiculous statement? You want the club to tell 10,000 to 15,000 fans to bugger off so that they'll join the club. Idiotic at best is your suggestion.

No….I want those 10,000 to 15,000 fans to become members, would help us become a powerhouse.

And then it wouldnt matter if both teams members can buy at the same time

We'd have that many we'd easily outnumber any opposition

Has Saints red v membership increased due to their home game at Kogarah last year?

I just cant see how that would convince people to join up. If they couldnt get into the game they would just watch it live on 9\. The tigersand the NRL lose out on having a 30k crowd to a 19k crowd, they'd be the only losers. And they know it, hence the move.

sometimes that might not happen though. if we were to play a sydney team that has more members than us at campbelltown or leichhardt then we would be outnumbered at our own home final. only members of the home team should be able to get tickets before the general public. infact if that was the case there would be more chance of us taking a home final to campbelltown or leichhardt.

Their memberships are up 33% on last year.
10,802 –> 14,440
Dunno what its due to...maybe some missing a home semi last year?
I mean it wouldnt be totally out of the realms of possibility...would it?

Well thats a big jump. it would be interesting to know why the jump.

Probably because they knew they were in for a big year and wanted to make sure they would get in at every home game because when they are doing well they get large crowds. When they are having a bad year their crowds get really low like Parra's do when they are going bad.

10 per member?

Are they serious? I mean I'm a member, so I'm stoked, but 10!

Ridiculous. I mean, we have, what 5000 members, Theoretically 1000 members might even miss out on a seat, not including Roosters member and THEN non-ticketed people.

That is an idiotic decision for mine.

I was a bit surprised too but it means Wests Tigers members can get tickets for their family members and friends who might not be members. I think you will find most members wont buy 10 tickets anyway.

Is that 10 per member, or 10 per ticket? ie: if someone has a family membership (4 tickets), does that entitle them to get 40 tickets to the final?

Does anyone know the chance of us playing on friday night week 1 of the finals? **im pretty sure the second week is no friday night game.** just need to know so i can work out my shifts for work for the next two weeks . its usually 4th v 5th on the first friday? which i guess is possible for us (but not likely, i know) to finish 4th

In weeks 2 and 3 the games are Friday and Saturday nights

True but they knew there was a good chance they'd be near the top again. Parra's memberships increased alot because they thought they would be near the top.

I know that been the case for a while and it helps tv ratings, but playing a semi final game on a Sunday afternoon should still happen.

No…
They didnt KNOW anything...they knew as much as Parras fans

3/4's of the clubs increased their memberships

But Parra's membership numbers increased ALOT. Ofcourse they don't know for sure if their team will go well but most of them thought they would - another reason why it's important to have positive marketing. Parra fans not wanting to miss out on a ticket for a possible home final could have something to do with it too.

Changed the following year, has gone backwards and forwards since. Last year the Eels/Titans and Eels/Dogs semis were on Fridays.
