Robson is definitely decent.

Had big wraps coming through the grades at the dragons.

He's probably slightly better than Liddle.
I think passing on the offer was the right thing to do though.

If a top shelf hooker was on the market , we should go for them. If its a mid range hooker I wouldn’t see the position as a priority. Simpkin will start to get more and more game time at NRL level.

Liddle isnt needed by Eels next year though as Mahoney still there till 2023 so taking Robson for 2022 means having 3 hookers and not strengthening any area of greater need.
