Basically Parra are going to be looking for a Hooker. If we can get Papalii early I would be interested in sending Simpkin or Liddle that way.

Otherwise no real compultion to solve Parras salary cap or the dogs salary wrought. Can we ban Gould from the game?

There’s no way that I would be giving Parra Simpkin, maybe at a push I would swap Liddle for Papili’i in 22.

Mahoney isn't joing the Dogs till 2023 though. They don't need a hooker for 2022 so they aren't going to release Papalii for one and have him sit on the bench for 12months.

Liddle is a far better hooker than Robson. If we wanted Robson, we should have kept his brother.

We've stuck by Liddsy for this long so I'm happy to keep him another year and see how he goes with another pre-season under his belt. Simpkin will only get better so happy to sit tight and not make any knee-jerk swaps.

My POV (and I feel the same about Luciano) but the club should only ever entertain releasing a player if they are surplus to the team's requirements and we are getting a rep quality - or potential rep quality - player in return/place of. It's something what a team like the Storm has always gotten right and why they're considered superior with the management of their roster.

I wouldn't be surprised if Liddsy is much improved next year, but the club's interest in Api and Hodgson show they aren't confident and they'll take another option if it becomes available.

Agree and I can see slithers of that happening now, hopefully we stay strong.
