The game changing moment was when your "Killa" was marvelling at his opposite instead of lining up the player that he was supposed to tackle. You know, the try that got them back in the game when down a player and not long after his very crappy pass to Brooks up the other end. Much prefer a poor Godinet if Liddle is not playing.

Thank God. I was getting really worried that everyone here had decided McIlwrick was some kind of saviour. The guy is legit hopeless.

Brooks wants Liddle as his 9\. You can see it on the field. Liddle should be 9 whenever he is fit.

Plz. Don't bank on liddle.
He's the bubble boy.
Breaks a elbow.just running onto the field.
We. Need farah and Lichaa. Nothing else available and the Lebanese never let this club down… Except. Moses. Lol.

I'm not banking on him. I am saying that he needs to be given an extended run of games to see how he goes.

Farah is a one year proposition at best. Lichaa is awful. We have to at least try to invest in Liddle unless there is some off contract saviour hooker we can sign.

Every time he’s given a chance at an extended run, he gets injured.

Everyone can see Brooks cant stand his crappy service hes blown up on him like 3 times which is a big deal from Luke as hes pretty damn quiet…

Of course its gonna be a game changing moment the whole team would have dropped their heads

Need more Poms ….
We can’t attract decent talent from the Southern Hemisphere so I think we need to look north !

He has been right to go the past two weeks though. And you're the one complaining that we're picking Taylor. Do you prefer McIlwrick and Godinet to Liddle? Because I'm pretty sure I saw McIlwrick limping up the tunnel today so all things being equal?

Like most have said in here now, our number 9 is a real problem at the moment. Once Taylor went to dummy half we got slow crappy service and couldn't get on the front foot. We need a proper number 9 who can go 80 mins, give us good ball out of dummy half, someone who can pull off 30-40 tackles a game, and someone who will dart out and take on the line every now and then.

We were on top of Canberra whilst they had Havilli out there, and soon as Hodgson come on, their direction changed and he had our defence 2nd guessing what he was going to do. Their halves also got better service out of dummy half and then their forwards and backline ran all over us.

We're also missing a good defensive back rower, a hard running 2nd rower who can punch holes in the defence, another prop for our rotation, and a hard running centre.

Finally i have worked it out about Masters .. he is not a centre .. a centre is one who runs on to the ball at full speed and tries to carve his way through the backline .. Marsters on the other hand gets the ball, dances around a little then tries to run over the top of the defence then tries to off load the ball. He would do better gaining a few kilos and going into the back rower and become an out wide edge running forward.

We have some work to do .. yes Mybe will give some experience and little "X" factor. He isn't going to become our saviour. Maybe we do need Robbie Farah back for the rest of this season only, a calm head out there steering the ship around the paddock would help. At least he'll give some good ball out of dummy half. Cleary will need to sit down and have a good hard look at the squad for the remaining half of the season.

Soz mate but I don't agree about Marsters. He's been a revelation for us and he plays like Leilua/Hodges or for a lesser comparison Shaun Kenny-Dowall. Not all centres are hole runners. He's the type that goes looking for the ball and creates opportunities for others. Generally they are actually better than the run of the mill types. I wouldn't trade him for Dale Copley that's for sure.

Not to say he can't play in the backrow, I fully believe he can and probably will many times in his career. But he's doing a hell of a job at centre and is one of the first picked imo.

Sharks and Raiders - two clubs that we historically have had a good record against… how the tables have turned in recent years.

I don't care about whose fault this debacle was. All I know is that my wife and I drove down from the Hunter Valley to sit in the freezing cold and what we got was a bunch of gutless wonders parading around pretending to be footballers. It obviously was just a bunch of blokes impersonating the real Wests Tigers because I know the real Wests Tigers aren't a bunch of (self deleted) who run away whenever a Raider's player comes near.

Five hours on the road for this and I don't even care about winning and losing but this was just sickening and for the first time in more than 50 years we left early, as did the majority of the 10,000 spectators (not enough to call it a crowd).

We looked good for the first 15 minutes when we had a specialist 9\. KILLA drew a smart penalty out of dummy half, then laid on a nice pass for Rowdy to score. Then he gets injured, and Hodgson came on for them. The momentum shift came through the affect the number 9’s had on both teams.

True that.
Its a big position and something we need to have fully covered before next preseason
That means Jacob and a decent back up

Sadly this is a pretty accurate reflection.

I also think MWZ although he seems to try his heart out just doesnt have it? He hasnt ever tickled my pickle and I see him as a wasted position but you cant hate him the way you can a J. Rankin

MWZ is a wasted Jersey

Disgusting and spineless effort. Rolled over and gave them the game.

I put that one on Cleary.

It's been coming. He's the one insisting on Taylor at 9\. It all starts from there.

I’d like to suggest the 17 blokes wearing the jersey had something to do with it too.

Yes the 9 is a problem but so is our increasing lack of respect for the basics of attack and Defense ie: hold the friggen ball and defend as a unit

I just want to add - I’ve been saying for weeks our ball handling is killing us. It would be interesting to note how many try’s against us have stemmed from handling or kicking errors.

MM started at 9\. Taylor went to 9 when MM got injured.

We don't have an 80min no 9.

I did watch the game. It turned once Taylor came on. As it has every time he has gone to 9.

The confidence is down and the rot is setting in.

Except the one that played the eighty a few hours earlier in ISP today, but yeah, the top grade is a different story. Still, if Liddle was fit enough to play a full game of reserves, then he should have been playing NRL against the raiders.

Liddel wouldn't have lasted 80 mins in first grade tonight against the size of the raiders pack. Their back line is massive.
