How are you going to feel if

if we miss the 8 I will blame the souths game, and it all started with the cheating blind video ref wont be blaming the storm at all its all about last saturday night if we make the 8 or not
 
Well, we've only lost two games this year that we should have won, those being the 2nd meetings with both the Roosters and Rabbits. However, since we've already won 12 games the chance that we'll miss the 8 by two points is pretty remote. Our for and against is what could do us in. I went through the rest of the games on the finals predictor and put in a loss for us in each of them and likely results for the other games and we still finished 8th. One more win and we'll definitely be there, though somewhere in the bottom half of the 8.
 
Same as I have felt for the past 4 years. Same old late season fade by the tigers.

The Melbourne Storm argument has been done to death. They are still playing and are a chance to stop teams earning the 2 points. If we are serious contenders we need to beat whoever is in front of us.
 
I would be a little ticked off if it came down to that, as they are still effectively cheating…..however.... if we let it come to that, we shouldn't really be in the finals anyway. A finals spot should have been secured against the bunnies.

If that happens I will feel that Sheens should be sacked and the players didn't do a good enough job.

Are you kidding? Every team has to play them so its the same for every team. In fact we have it not so bad that we only play them once. What about teams who play them twice. If we dont make the semis it means we will lose the last 5games and any side who does that doesnt deserve to be there. If we dont make the semis thyear it menas 9 teams would of won more games than us and by all means we definetly dont deserve to be there, whether we got a rough deal on saturday night or not.

We probably got the luckiest out of every team re: Melbourne.
Play once, at home, 2nd last comp game…they'll be thinking of their fianl home game

Wouldnt really care to be honest….even if we do make it we will only be there to make up the numbers....on the upside Sheens should walk If he he,s a man of his word

We really need them to do what we couldn't - beat Souths this week, just to keep them 4 points below us heading into the Panthers game.

It could to us. But like Stryker said, there have been other games that we should have won to not leave us in this position. Even holding on for a draw on Saturday would have been important.
 
If Wests are good enough, they'll be there already. Anything less than 5th would be very disappointing. Making thye finals, yeah, it would be great, but run 7th or 8th and you're just making up the numbers basically. If it comes down to it, then like stryker stated, the Tigers only have themselves to blame. Missed opportunities again will be the reason if Wests miss out. Not a loss to Melbourne. It wouldn't be the Storm's fauly anyway. It's the incompetent suits at the NRL that have allowed pandora's box to be opened because they've allowed Melbourne Storm to be a variable in this competition.
 
If we let ourselves get to the state that Melbourne would have the opportunity to put the final nail in the coffin, the question isn't how would we feel if Melbourne is the team to eliminate us, but what the hell happened against the Eels and Pamfers?
