Lol, he walked into a side that just came off a prelim loss and were on the way up

How are we on the way up? Our results are getting progressively worse

Yes, because I was talking about us and not souffs

Now I'm confused. I thought you were taking about south's.

My phone always autocorrects to souffs and I don’t bother changing it ?

Even my phone hates them

Lol sorry, long week!

Haha all good mate. FTR I reckon Bennett would have helped us attract marquee - for whatever reason he seems quite well liked

I’m not sure he would have been able to get us out of the rut we are in and there’s no way he would have been here long term

I think he would have done pretty good for us. He’s a brilliant man manager and that seems to be a big problem at the moment. Anyway, we’ll never know.

He probably would have signed Benji for 5 years at ridiculous money And brought Darius on board for another 3 years to fill our fullback spot.

Bennett is THE most overated person connected with rugby league in its entire history.

For 20 years he coached THE team to have, salary cap free, and could only win 5 comps. Then he turned the dragons, knights, and now his own bro cos into basket cases when he left. The reason he is liked by players is his ability to operate outside of the cap, and the nice little 'entitlements' that come their way. Very interesting entitlements too.

People who fall for this gimp are on the spectrum.

Fair enough to have an opinion but your last line is disgraceful and you should be ashamed of yourself.

He would have brought competent support staff and I think our recruitment would have been a load better.

What was the point of this article..

Its just the daily story about the Tigers to get there click bait numbers up...

For all their negative hit jobs on Pascoe this story doesn’t fit their narrative. Getting terms agreed with Bennett and Maguire is a good recruitment feat. Madge is the better option the club will be better for his involvement although I find it highly unlikely he will reap the benefits of a full club rebuild.

We are on a better track than other clubs struggling even the Titans. We need to suck and build the right way. Whether they have the ability to get it done is another thing.

To be fair, they were top 8 before he got there, the club openly threw unlimited $$$ at the attempt, and have spent the next 10 years in the wilderness because of it.

I reckon i could have done that if thems the rules.
