We like to get our hopes up on here. Remember before the 2018 season we had one spot left to fill and we were all speculating who it might be with excitement and then it ended up being Pita Godinet. I'm still getting over that one.

I think we're a fair chance to have Harry Grant back once his gig with the Storm ends if not sooner. Bellamy has said he won't coach much longer. I suspect there'll be a few guys wanting to leave once the great coach departs.

I can't see Bellamy leaving football altogether - he will probably take up a football dept manager role somewhere. Could see him taking a few players with him.

There is a very slight chance that 1. Smith plays on; 2. That triggers a clause allowing Grant to break contract; 3. He decides we are his preferred choice (due to this years experience). This could happen but I doubt all three would align.
My guess: enjoy him while it lasts.
We do have two very good hookers in our system currently but I get it that Grant is special

Brandon Smith has previously stated that Bellamy has promised him the starting Hooker role if Cammy retires.
