I thought for sure the footy gods were going to screw us over in that game, when we were up 18-14 and put the bomb up close to the line and our chaser was taken out and we didn't get a penalty (not too sure who it was, Anasta maybe?), that was a terrible call, Pauli Pauli pushed him clear as day.
Then the try they scored off the back of Hayne's forward pass, I could have thrown my remote through the tv… How did they miss that? I know Hayne stopped running as he threw it which made it look worse but that was clearly forward and the touchie was dead inline with it.
Massive props to Patty Richards & Kapow again, as well as Brooksy and Nofoaluma (made some very handy runs for us when we were struggling), also Blairy and Thompson in defense really aimed up.
Couldn't be happier right now, that was an incredibly gutsy win under the circumstance, especially with Robbie, Teddy & Fults out.
