How many players...?

…would other clubs look at and say "I'd love to have this player in our team?"

From today's side, IMO only one and that's Marshall. And despite this, he really is rocks or diamonds.

Is there one other player on the field today for us who would walk into a club like Melbourne or Manly and demand a starting place?

Maybe Ellis, a year or two ago but he hasn't been the same player since he's returned from injury. Same for Lawrence, maybe before his Injury but now, no chance.

Woods, probably.

Anyone else? Nope.

It's an over-rated squad as a whole. Over-rated both in terms of what they are hyped up us and what they have produced. Thats not to say they lack talent, but they lack the intangibles that make tough, consistent league players.
Canterbury and Souths had squads that were really underwhelming last season. They are now in the TOP 4 after a simple coaching change at the top. So I reckon most of them can produce at this level, however do they really want to, DO THEY HAVE TO UNDER SHEENS??

Whats easier, sack 10 players, or get rid of the coach?

Most our players have talent. Sadly we fail miserable to bring the attitude, the mental toughness and the resiliance which is half the battle to becoming a consistent 1st grader. That is half the responsibility of the head coach to install. We just can't get into the grind and be consistent. Were all over the shop and its a reflection of the coach, the players don't want to play for him.

Sad situation.

I agree. There is some talent in our roster they just is to much complanciancy amongst them. Look at the Souths coach he drops players ever Kearney dropped his most expensive player. When was the last time a player from the Tigers was droped. Blair if dropped earlier this year may have pulled his finger out and had a go (not only him there are many others that could have benefited from being dropped).

from our squad, defs farah

from today's game? gee maybe koro? every coach wants a raw talent so that they can develop them. not saying he was the best player in the team today, or that he is the next superstar or anything though.

Koroibete for sure.
As tig_premz says mainly due to the potential he has. Reckon any club would be real happy to have him. Can you imagine him on the end of manlys backline outside of Lyon. He would set modern day tryscoring records.

Heres a question. If Marshal, Ellis, Heino and Blair were all Australian, would any of them play SOO next year, considering that they are all current internationals?

I think Fulton, Farah and Woods have had tremendous seasons …. And would be embraced by most other NRL clubs

Yep I agree with that.

Although he has had a average year, Chris Lawrence is a class act comming back from a horror injury, I'd grab him if I was another team, maybe Ryan based on effort and attitude alone. KG has regressed. Blair is a dud. Ellis is gone.

On this years form the rest would struggle to get a run in a top 8 team. Even benji would get there on reputation only.

Marshall, Farah, Woods, maybe Galloway, Rowdy and Koroibete and I think that would be about it.

At the end of the day I think we need to curb our expectations of the team because they clearly are not as good as what the media, and we as fans hyped them up to be.

Fulton, Farah, Woods, Benji (not a great season at all really, but still right up there in try assists and points), Marika probably Sauce as well and maybe Rowdy. Beau would probably find other clubs interested in him too actually. Utai would probably get thrown a life line from another club to be played off the bench.

However, I wouldn't want to lose anyone really, except for maybe Blair. I want to see how everyone responds to a different coach.
