Completely agree, should have missed 18 weeks. With a few test matches and trials he'd have missed out until at least round 12.

Why should trial matches count as NRL games in suspensions? A 12 game suspension should be 12 NRL games, not trials, not tests. Its such a rort that he'll probably only end up missing 6-7 games and not half the season like the grub should.

One bite by an english bulldog, 15 steps back for the NRL. Many thousands of parents watch this incident on prime time TV. The NRL's job to convince youngdters to play rugby league has been made so much more difficult.

What a load of crap. Kids only have to go to school to see a fight where someone draws blood, but it doesn't stop parents sending their kids to school does it? However, If the kids fighting at school weren't punished, the parents would probably pull them out. But the NRL punished graham… So they will be happy to know grub acts like this aren't tolerated.
