How would you form our team?

Ok you have 4 ideas to pick from:

5 Good players, with the other 12 Mediocre at best.

3 good, 6 above average, the other 8 mediocre.

13 Above average players. Everyone else Reserve grade.

The big 17.

Curious. As I noticed that Every team seems to do it differently.
Easts seem to pick 5 top players, Then fill themselves with people who they can pay cheaply or fringe graders.
Melbourne kept the big 4, then almost any Fringe grader with talent.
Cronulla seem to copy Easts, picking players at the back end of their careers.

We really went with the big 17\. I don't think other then Brooks, that we had anyone who would be a 'star' in another team.
Would we have been better off splurging on two great front rowers instead of the 3-4 good ones we got?

Out of those options I’d take #2 - 3 good, 6 above average, 8 mediocre.

You play with the hand you're dealt. We won't be a "5 big players" anytime soon.

Give the Roosters their due, their not afraid to pad their squad (not their 17) with some ISP & potential. You can blow an entire season that way with some injuries.
