On this day 21 years ago, Greece completed the fairytale of all fairytales by winning UEFA Euro 2004.
They beat Portugal TWICE, a star-studded France and dark horses Czech Republic, writing their name in the history books forever.

(Yes, it's still Wimbledon time... 😉)

A woman runs across the court during the 1996 Wimbledon men's final match as players Richard Krajicek and MaliVai Washington happily stop to watch the streaker.
The woman was identified as Melissa Johnson, a 23 year old London student who worked at a local cafe. Melissa was taken to Wimbledon police station for the duration of the final and released without further action.

One of my favourite Wests players was Ian Shubert, who played in some magpie teams which really struggled. most of the time.
He was also part of the 75 Roosters side which beat changas saint's side30 odd to blot .He was also one of the older blokes walking around prior to the game today.
I wonder who he was cheering for?
