Humble gone/ Salary cap issues?

Who'd play for this rabble? Well the current captain of the world champion, the Nws state of origin player of the yr, nz vice captain, best young prop in the game , some of the best juniors in the game -so quite a few peopleseem to want to play for us, as for humble it's how much of your cap you want to spend on him( not much IMO) not nessecarily the overall cap

I like Humble but i don't see why anyones blowing up. I didn't see him named in one "2013 possible teams". He is our 4th string fullback (tedesco, molten, ryan), 4th string half (benji, anasta, sironen) and at best 2nd string hooker.

I think he could be a good nrl player, but he has no real value at us.

The player I was talking about isn't Farah , but it has come up in other threads so usually where there is smoke there is fire

And as I said on the other until I get more info I'm sitting on it Unlike some (not pointing the finger at you )until I get solid info I sit on it

The only two times I have broken anything was the Piggy Riddell signing with the Roosters (correct)

And Carney being stood down by the Roosters last season (correct)

Hence why he's not going to post an unsubstantiated rumor without proof. I'm only a johnny come lately member of about 18 months but not once have I seen Happy start any rumors or try & big note himeself unlike some other members.

Bottom line is that this squad failed this year.

The coach isn't going anywhere so that leaves the players.

We all have our favourites but the bottom line that changes have to be made, some more palatable than others.

I have no problem with those mooted, would even be happy to see a few more, blow up the roster and see where that takes us.

I would have liked to have seen Sheens go but honestly there is no one currently available as an alternative.

Our style of footy worked for us in the park and has attracted supporters (top supported team in Sydney, todays paper) but the truth is we are not in the finals which means we are nowhere and that has to change.

A new coach, new players and a new style would have been great and in a year or so that will happen so at the the moment it is small steps.

I wouldn't be getting rid of Utai, he would be one of the first blokes I would pick each week purely for the reason that he tries his best every single game, there are plenty at the Tiges who don't. They should be punted first.

Jeez, what a schomozzle this is turning out to be… Surely we'd know how many games Humble played before we had to pay him!

Maybe the last game against Melbourne triggered his incentives and bonuses, which would explain why we could afford Lewis, and now its become a problem - I remember an outspoken NRL player a few years ago (can't remember his name - Brad Meyers with the Titans maybe??) getting all up in in the media because the club wouldn't give him a run in FG because it would invoke a clause in his contract entitling him to an additional $50,000K

I remember a forward at the Knights when Smith was the coach & he refused to let him play another game in FG because if he played a certain amount of games, there was a clause that he got a contract for another year. I think his name was Kurt Reynolds or something similar???

Kirk Reynoldson previously at the Storm was the player in question, Smith may have been portrayed as the bad guy here but he would have been following directions from a cash strapped club comittee.
