Proving to be a great signing….big upside with MBYE...still only learning his trade at Fullback..

I think he will get better ...going good now...

I was sarcastically laughing my head off when I 1st read the title

Mitch Moses humble :roll :roll :roll :roll

Wondered what they thought the word "humble" meant

Play on , Moses has stepped into the line up like it was a stocking , playing well , will only get better when the combinations gel further

As for being humble , this describes the word beautifully , tear jerker of a song

https://www.bing.com/search?q=tim+mcgraw+humble+and+kind&form=IENTHT&mkt=en-au&httpsmsn=1&refig=d62037f9bac24a4e92e9dda6557f9fa3&sp=1&ghc=1&filters=ufn%3A%22tim+mcgraw+humble+and+kind%22+sid%3A%22f1a199d2-60b9-48c7-83f2-800839ef221e%22&qs=MB&pq=humble+and≻=8-10&cvid=d62037f9bac24a4e92e9dda6557f9fa3

If Humble and Kind is the song for Moses Mbye then this is surely the song to describe Slimey Mitchell Moses

Mitchell Moses - Oh Lord It's Hard to be Humble - Mac Davis
Oh Lord it's hard to be humble when you're perfect in every way, I can't wait to look in the mirror cause I get better looking each day….

One of my favourite songs PPM , suits me to a T as well :roll not

Doesn't work in chess though - need to be ruthless and a killer and the pride/confidence that no one can defeat you or are smarter than you.

Oh! I know - get the knights to run over them, exact blood, then they can go back to the castle, confess their sins to the bishop, get served by the pawns and have dinner with the king and queen.

All good.

what's chess got to do with playing fullback?
were Gary Jack, Billy Slater, Keith Barnes, The Wombat ect good chess players?

They never played a game without a board in their back pocket - just in case. Lol

I never went to a demo without a magnetic set in my back pocket in case I ended up in the slammer - but I would suspect that innovative footy coaches would be also be good at chess. Both games are physical battles involving tactics and strategies. If you were not too smart at full back you get caught out like Tedesco does some times. Kimmorley was great at anticipating play.

so are you saying that if Tedesco becomes a chess enthusiast he will not get caught out by crafty halves like Kimmorley?

No guarantee but one can only hope - it is an extremely large and disgruntled field of those who can't handle chess. I am sure they are trying to educate him on full back strategic duties. Look how Farah white-anted the Rabbits which was what Moses was saying - a forward could not come up with that.

The longest i've spent in Bryon was two weeks. However I did start to pick up some basic Byronese.
Most sentences would start with a "yeah man" then a long pause.
Late into the second week when blow ins would ask me "which way is it to the beach?".. i would give them a rambling monologue that may or may not mention the beach.

Spent a bit of time at Byron myself over the years , have a B-I-L who lives at Bangalow about 25 kms away

Beautiful area of the world

It would be sweet if Moses ends up being the custodian fullback for Queensland
Tigers ex fullback against the current fullback

Plays 2 games and get Wally Lewis Medal as well

If Queensland want to win another origin series Ponga must be in the halves

Hate these stories coming out before games when players have switched clubs. The motivation by the media is stir up the clubs and as much as players generally try to put a positive spin on it, they ususally just rile up the opposing club.
Have a feeling this will irritate the Bulldogs and the niceties we may see in it will be incentive to make Moses eat his words.

Adding a quality 1 and 9 has breathed new life into our season and has given us a fighting chance to sneak into the finals.

Sometimes it's a struggle on here telling which Moses is being spoken about. I like this method. You have Humble Moses and, you know, the total opposite.

You think that is bad, when the game was called on triple m the head commentator was just as confused. He called Moses and Mbye in the one single play.
