I thought this guy was highly regarded and respected, comes across as a total amateur
He might be good with $$$ sponsors and financials, but he has no clue about football, passion or rugby league clubs.....he inspires no confidence in me

Humphries should have been asked what will be involved in this club review they have been talking about and then once the parameters were outlined, start asking questions about the specifics of the review so that supporters can gain an understanding of what the club hopes to achieve from it. There would also have been an opportunity to focus on the coach, morale, the poor form of some players, total disregard for self preservation in terms of surviving in the comp as shown by the poor effort against the rorters and melbourne. Instead, the interview was a pr exercise aimed at gaining ratings for the show and letting Humphries off lightly. A whitewash, possibly similar in nature to the upcoming review, we will see, or will we? will members and supporters be advised of the results or even be invited to provide feedback??????
 
Blocker is a lightweight. Humpty easily swatted away his questions.

There were a lot of comments about "learning lessons"? No one asked the follow up question of what are those lessons?
 
I'm not sure why, but when he said, "we all get fed up with Tim changing the…." I was expecting him to say team not gym. Looks like we'll have to waste another season until the Tim Sheens boys club gets evicted from Concord....

I'm a BIG Humpty fan, but seriously that drool that was given last night, he sounded like a fool.

If he wasn't interested in being there, he should of declined to go on the show!!!
 
Didn't watch it, never intended to.

Nothing that is said makes any difference to this season or changes anything for next season.

I want a new coach but if that isn't going to happen (which looks like it isn't at this stage) I have no idea how the club is going to move forward and nobody in the organisation can answer that question either except Tim Sheens who is likely burying his head in the sand and scurrying off to the Australian side

At the end of the day the CEO's job is to look after the business of Wests Tigers and that is pretty much the extent of it. The board is who must be lobbied to make a change of coach as they can instruct the CEO to do so
 
For me, the highlight was when they replayed our former CEO saying, 4 weeks ago, "Brian Smith will be coaching next year"…honestly, with these kind of fools in charge, it's no wonder the rugby league needs managerial talent from the AFL...As for the interview, another lowlight in our embarassing 2012, at the end of the day, we, the fans, seem to matter little. But ehy, if re-arranging the gym makes it all better again... :crazy What next, a new hair cut for Benji? :wtf
 
Actually went to have a look at the gym when members day was held at Concord after an announcement was made to feel free to look at the facilities. I was hunted away before getting anywhere near it and was told the gym was not included so I took my time to have a thorough look at the stands and the grass on the oval! Glad I didn't get to see it after all as it would have changed now!!
 
Would have loved to see him attached to a lie detector during the interview.Not one thing he said last night gave me any confidence in 2013.IF you are going to sugar coat things at least do it well.

I think we should re name Humpty to Bagdad Bob, he has the same credibility rating

Undertaking a review?? Who is? Covering what? Will the findings be released? What time frame?

Who was the dope who signed Sheens and Moltzen to 3 year contracts and has he/she been sacked? Who will be picking the teams next year? How many of the reserve grade players are confident of progressing to first grade under Sheens?

just for once, it would be refreshing to hear a CEO say" the coaching staff are on notice, they have been informed that if good results, and I mean winning at least 6 games out of first 8 games, does not happen, then they all will be replaced by round 9 and or" if the team does not play in the finals, those repsonsible for them will be needing to seek other employment immedialtey after round 26..
