I can cop a loss easier

When it is of our making, like tonight. Because if it's your own fault, then you (coach and players) know what you need to work on.
The lack of variety in attack, or some of the injuries, may open up the opportunity for someone else to spark a bit more creativity.

The other thing is the speed of the game, which I also noticed last year. We are just SOOOO SLOOOOWWW at executing plays that the opposition can see them coming miles away. I know a team needs to be patient, but there is no need to associate patience with slowness.

Overall, wasn't particuarly concerned at the loss, this early in the season, and given the closeness of the score after we fell behind early.
Benji has done a lot of talking, but he and the team now need to start to deliver in the coming weeks, or the rethoric will become stale, and repetitive for all of us.

Back down to earth.
Didn't take long
Most other teams put souths away 2 nite
True had enough opportunities and valley to win it. But they targeted Skelton all nite. Given both our centres are out, and our halves went down late, I can live with it. We didn’t apply a lot of pressure in defence when we had them on their own line. And Doubie could have kicked more trorps after the first one worked?!?!

But perhaps this is exactly the sort of pressure we put on the Tigers that they don't need. I know it is a script we've read before, but if we start to lack the support at this stage of the season, then who wins out of all of it?
We.put.pressure in them
Who exactly?

Lack of support?
Again...who and where

This was a close game between two edge of the eight teams. We wont trouble the good teams. Last weeks win was nothing. Cowboys will get the spoon.

They are professionals but they are also human beings, that read or hear things. Not all of them have the mental toughness that others have. As for the lack of support, a lot of the comments tonight are somewhat pessimistic. This may be more a reflection of the outcome of this single game rather than of the overall support for the WT.

The slowness was starting from DH, I hope Api is not getting too slow, too quickly, he takes acouple of slow steps beofre Douhi gets the ball.

We played poorly and the score flattered us (4 tries to 2).We lacked creativity in attack (like most years) and defended below par.We miss Latu so much as he really gives so much more direction to our attack.

Latu has played like 2 decent games in the past year…missed a ton through injury ..and I’m one of his biggest fans here …

Of course he is. That scoot was great but his real job is giving quick accurate and clean ball to the playmakers. He doesn’t do that nearly enough and as the game goes on it gets worse. That’s why we often succeeded last year when he and Tallyn tag teamed oppositions. We need someone better than Hope to relieve him.

Should have put Jock on b4 Api. I don't think anyone can see what a weapon he will be for us. He will be a weapon.

Definitely.
