There is no news of us wanting Michael Gordon! He is exactly what this club needs, an origin player, a brilliant goalkicker and a good finisher. Goalkicking would become a strength instead of a problem, and I would take him over Brown and Daniella.

The Panthers will now set their sights on holding onto the off-contract NSW winger Michael Gordon and forward Frank Pritchard. Maurice Blair, Gavin Cooper, Nigel Plum and Brad Tighe are also yet to secure deals beyond this year. Talented young playmaker Wade Graham is likely to sign with either Cronulla or North Queensland this week.
