The last time that I saw people crying with so much grief as they are doing in North Korea was at full time in the Tigers-Warriors semi-final (''Dictator's fate uncertain as impoverished state ponders cost'', December 22).

Looks like he doesn't know to utilise English to structure a sentence correctly either.

He may be a warriors fan, who knows.

This wasnt funny, but the images coming out of Nth Korea the last few days of bodgy, overacted grieving from workers and military personnel has been hilarious

I don't think I can laugh about this yet. The big difference here is that the crying and grief at the SFS was real!

Gotta wonder what the penalty was, for not grieving publicly in North Korea. 😱pen_mouth:

Yes Mrs T that is a scary thought

Imagine getting ,jailed ,flogged all of your family taken away because you didn't cry because your leader died

Well if were they bring that into Australia and someone wants me to cry if Julia died I'm screwed unless I can produce tears of joy

Some of those people, if not the large majority, would have been genuine. They are raised to believe in a certain cult of personality for their leaders.

I do agree though that the Tigers loss was a far greater tragedy than Kim Jong-Il's death.
