I hate manly

Yeah, Count me in, I do too! You all know that old saying: "Real men don't eat quiche - or support Manly!" As you can see by my pen name I'm an old Newtown supporter (When we had a First Grade Team) and I reckon that I've hated Manly since 1954\. The number of times I've been robbed at that Cesspit Brookvale Oval is without count, and one of my proudest days was the 1981 Final when Steve Bowden poleaxed Mark Broadhurst in stand up fair fight and we beat 'em - and didn't they winge! Ah, Happy Day! Admittedly, we lost the Grand Final the week after, but it was almost worth it to beat those imposters! I've been a Tiger's man ever since Arko and Bullfrog got rid of the Blues, so boys, if you want to make an older gentleman happy, bore it up 'em on Monday night!

when the word Manly is mentioned is makes my blood boil.
the way they have been treated over the decades as the ' chosen ones's gives me instant aggro.
it takes control of my thoughts, and I long for the spilling of their blood, and smacking them in the head, with a silver platter. repeatedly

My hatred of Manly started in my early years of watching footy (back when I was a Parra supporter in the early 80's)

And last, but definitely not least, my mind goes back to some of our recent losses to them. That wet game against them a couple years ago comes to mind where we were on top of them for almost all the game and Brett Stewart pulled off one of the arsiest tries you will ever see, juggling the ball in torrential rain to score the winning try. Makes my blood boil just picturing it!

doesnt everybody the old saying was i want my team to win and who ever plays manly this weekend the main reason i will never forget one year i went to brookie watched wests get flogged 54-8 im pretty sure terry hill made ken mcguiness look silly 4 tries i think anyway i just bloody hate em ok enough said oh and cmon WESTS TIGERS win this one please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't want to be a downer, but Wests lost that game 68-8\. My first ever away game when I was 7\. Painful.

im with you too mate , hate quiche so much my mum fed me that crap for years, and manly as well feel just the same chew em up and spit em out lol

I Remember going to a Balmain Manly game in 1983 and GOD did we give it to John Ribot calling him a fag etc
i was wondering if he was going to jump the fence and bash us lol
anyway we lost but man it was fun
