…cried after a loss but i did tonight.

9 years ago to this day was the worst day of my life. tonight is the second worst day of my life. im completely shattered. i feel like my heart has been ripped out.

im not saying that im not proud of my team but i am still heartbroken as im sure our players are :frowning:

No point crying over spilt milk alien. Plenty of disadvantaged people out there doing it tough in life who battle on each day so try and put that in perspective. It's a sad way for the Tigers to lose the game, but they gave it their all and that's all we as fans can really ask of them.

Agreed.

I am gutted too Alien but then I remember seeing little Lleyton sitting a few rows in front of me and that puts things into perspective. Beside, we're aren't out yet.

thats true. i think i saw him on his father's shoulder on the big screen.

Lleyton was also there at Skilled Park last week.

we cannot give him three losses on the trot - it is most probably the last time he'll ever see us….

Well, said Willow…
I felt like crying as well, then last night I dreamt my little grandson had gone missing, that put things into perspective for me! Little Leyton, is another. Life goes on as they say, its only football! and all the others ..

Lleyton has limited time. If the tigers wanted him to be sent out with a high, we have to beat Canberra (assuming we make it). He might not be around for week 3.

I still can't get over the scrum after Dwyers hit, in ANY other game that scrum would have been repacked, or even a tigers penalty. We'd now have a week off and be looking good. Now we may have Canberra which will be tough with their form and our guys getting up after last nights.

This is the second time this year that the cocks have won in the dying minutes from a poor decision by the ref.

I really thought this was going to be our year, and the way we played last night i have no reason to doubt we wouldn't win it. Now we have injuries and a tougher road in, as after canberra and we probably have to play the Saints. I would have much preferred to play the Saints in the GF.

I hope the guys bounce back, if the injury gods are on our side, there is still hope.

Shattered, almost hyper-ventilated and this afternoon I'll be rooting for a team I hate, but it was a lot of fun. That was a good game of footy.

This is the worst i have ever felt after a loss. Feels like losing a grand final. Bring on the Raiders Next week.
GOOOOO ST GEORGE!
ouch never thought id say that

Pretty devastating to be dominating for 60 minutes then to basically give up in the last 20 minutes. I really thought that game was our's, we had a strangle hold which I didn't think we'd let go, Heighington, Ellis, Gibbs and even by my own admission Galloway, all had barnstormers. The pack played the best I think I've seen them play in the club's short history, Marshall probably had his best game of the year, I'm still coming to terms at how we lost the match. Just shattered, the pack are gonna have to do it all again against Canberra if we're to have any chance. The boys really worked their guts off in extra time, but we should have never ended up in that predicament if we put in for the last 20 and friggin' Heighington picked the ball up at the back of the scrum!

Last night i was that angry after leaving the SFS it was yet to sink in. this morning i was gutted. i can not believe we lost that game. the boys looked so slick early on i thought we were going to put a cricket score on them.
Had we won, got the week off, i think we would have gone a long way to winning the grand final.
