Just curious who took the Warriors in their tipping comps ?
Was watching the game on Saturday with my nephew and late into the second half he said " Agh well that's gonna stop you from getting a perfect round , aye " . I told him I took the warriors , he abused me for the rest of the game , lol.

So OWN UP , who takes their tipping seriously or DO YOU just back the Tiges every week !!! :crazy

Really after beating Gold Coast and Souths you picked nz. not a true supporter my friend , give yourself an uppercut .

I joined a tipping comp in round 2 and tipped the GC. After that I was always going to keep tipping against us in the hope i could keep some jinx happening :slight_smile: didn't last too long.

Back to calling it how i see it.

There's been plenty of times I've went against the Tigers in my tipping and more often than not it pays off.

But this week I did not and I wish I did! :frowning: Good call mate!
 
On another note I did pick the Tigers I really thought we would give them a challenge but alas we get 4 injuries during the game and have no bench and the Refs thought they might get on the ''Good Stuff'' the night before the game. I picked us in round 1 and we got smashed, so I picked the Titans in round 2 and we thrashed them, but I thought ''well we put in a good effort against the Titans and usually when we have a good game against someone we lose the next game, our pack will get smashed by those behemoths in the Souffs side'' and turns out I got it COMPLETELY wrong and our pack absolutely ran riot over the Rabbits pack. So this round I was like ''hmm the Warriors played well against the Cowboys but leaked some points near the end of the game also they are playing up at Wellington and they never win there'' so we might be a chance so out of the goodness of my heart I picked the Tigers and they failed me :frowning: shows how much I know about my own bloody team lol I have tipped wrong in the 4 games we have played. I will most likely be tipping the Sea-Eagles next week and we will probably win by 10 and it will be the upset of the season so far.

Every year I tip the Tigers every week regardless. Could never tip against them.

This year in Rd 2 I changed my tune. I tipped Gold Coast over Tigers. Then I tipped Souths over Tigers.

I was overjoyed. The Tigers won and I finally realized that I was the jinx.

So this past week in an attempt to keep the run going I tipped the Warriors (against better judgement).

Damn.

But I realized something - tipping the other team is alright because if the Tigers lose you win. Alternatively if the Tigers win then you lose the tip, but who gives a stuff! We won!
 
It's very rarely I can bring myself to tip against the Tigers.

On the other hand it's very rare that I'm confident enough to say they'll win with any degree of certainty.
 
I always feel confident in my tips when the tigers are playing. Tip for or against them.

I had a guest like one of my posts the other day, it was such a great day.

On topic, i tip against us any time i feel the other team will win. Its a tipping competition not a show of loyalty to your club. :wink:
 
Tip against the Tigers a lot. My theory is if they win I don't care about my tipping. If they lose it is a small consolation that I get the tipping points.

A serious question for all the people who are saying they never bet against the tigers, or that they "could not bring themselves to", and I'm honestly not trying to take the piss.

How do you knowingly willfully bet on a team you know or dont think can win?

How do you justify it in your head? it makes no logical sense.
