I said it at the beginning of the year.....

Our backline is one of the best, but their is no Prince or Big Pat. Our forwards are light years better than in the past few years on the back of the big pom but still way behind The dragons and Manly and probably a couple of other teams. A top eight finish would be brilliant and something to take into 2010 as for the big one Neville no chance

We lose next week, and some other results go against us - we could be back in 13th place!

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Enjoy tonight, then come tomorrow - forget about it.

Roosters will be on a high. They will be fresher than us. This will be a tough game, a danger game.

Long way to go. Two games we should win coming up. This is where we have in the past blown it

Yeah, last night's result puts us just outside the top 8\. Some would say that is our traditional spot to finish the season. What we do over the next month or so will decide our fate.

Must win both games in the next fortnight and then beat either the Titans, Dogs or Eels and hope like hell 28 points is enough if we can keep our F/A in the positive. Personally I think the second half of the game last night is going to crush much of the confidence the side has gained over the past month and could cause a problem or two.

It's this time of the year again when the whips are cracking and we are improving every game. We just beat the premiers who are one of the most feared teams to play. It does not matter how you win, we won, full stop. Big KG will be much better for that run last night and so will Heighno. I can only see positives and not negatives with how we are playing at the moment. Go the mighty Wests Tigers.

I remember starting my thread on us making the finals on the old forum regarding our run home from 3 weeks ago… a few ppl gave it to me saying we'd get in on 30pts... where are they? Gone into hiding... haha

COMEON TIGERS!!

i have felt the same way through the year with the erratic way they have performed (same as 05).
i admit, i completely wrote the tigers off for this season after the warriors game (horrible, horrible effort that day…) but today i am hoarse from roars of triumph and euphoria during last nights game and the guys have now made me believe anything is possible.
i think a big turning point has been marshalls vastly improved form and reduction in mistakes. its great to see him playing as one of 13 rather than trying to do everything himself every time he gets the ball.

still, we have been toyed with in the past and given such hope only to have them run straight into the last hurdle and break a leg...

however, i disagree with the whole 2005 team's aura comment: there is no reason this side cant generate the same sort of feel and become something special in their own right. i have also said that if you look at the squads, this years looks better than 05 in my opinion.

After a few rounds I said this team had the smell of 2005\. Now we're 4 in a row, I wonder how close I am to being right.

We are playing well currently but we aren't in the same ball-park as 2005 mate.
