Just seen on the english web site that leeds fullback zac hardaker looks like coming to aust to play with the raiders. now if my maths is right the raiders have sign 8-9 new players in the last year or so and have not let many go, now they look like they will get hardaker, who also comes with a 300,000 pound not dollars transfer fee. when did the raiders get the rooters accountant to start work for them. makes u wonder why the hell we cannot get the same player turn over as what the raiders and the roooters get.

Seriously? The moment a side starts to sign a few players, all of sudden they're rorting the cap? Were we rorting the cap the yr we signed Prince, Hodgo, Payten and co?

They'll be looking to shed more as well, including Fensom and possibly one of Boyd or Vaughn. Brenko Lee would probably also go elsewhere for a guaranteed first grade gig. If they don't shed they'll probably get stung next year when the big money contracts of Junior Paulo and Joe Tapine kick in.
They've done well for this season though. They brought in Hodgson and Whitehead untested at NRL level so they probably aren't paying overs for them - that was a gamble that has paid off big time for them. They got Leilua cut rate from Newcastle and have turned him around. They probably used the cousin connection between Leilua and Soliola to keep Soliola there at less than market rate. Jordan Rapana isn't on much coin he has just had a breakout season. Austin they would have got on the cheap by offering him a first grade gig at 5/8\. Throw in Paulo and Tapine on the cheap for this season and they've managed to get a very good squad into the salary cap.

No one really wants to go play for the raiders unless they are not getting a regular gig elsewhere.
I think their no name players would be on poor coin. Signed to secure NRL contracts.
