I'm not sure if Nofo has ever had a good centre inside him through his NRL career to date.

You would hope not, it seems a common sense selection of Idris and Simona in the centres, which will be good, but our selection team really sucked last year.
 
It's great to be excited about a signing for a change.
I got a good feeling about him, like when we signed Hodgo.

I guess it us up to Simona whether he feels he will play his best footy on the centre or wing. He is the best player on the left-hand side and deserves first choice of where to play. My guess he plays centre, and wind is either Rankin/Kev/Heleta.

I haven't heard much news about how Kev is going.

Rankin is well… :unamused: Unless his goal-kicking has improved significantly, which I assume hasn't happened, SHOULD be moved on from the club. But I think the club has faith in him. :brick:

I expect Heleta to be given a chance some time in 2017.

I don't know who the club will pick on the left edge, but I have faith in the club that they can pick the best possible team that can deliver results. Whatever happens I will still cheer them on.

Seems to be super keen to make his mark and rip in…....however I'm sure Nick Graham, Sam Harris and Bwaith all made the same noises in their 1st offseason with WT. Hope like hell he gives us a bit more than those 3.
Would love to have a blockbusting monster creating havoc for our side for a change.

I was neither here nor there about Jamal coming to the club. In terms of the type of players we need I felt he was far from it . In saying that can't knock the attitude so far in what I imagine has been a tough preseason for him So hats off so far, and hope and can take the same attitude on the field that he has displayed at training.
 
There has never been anything wrong with our right side attack, the addition of idris will make it sizzle. It will be plugging the right side defence that will make us a top 8, side.

Idris is a guy who can make one-on-one tackles and hurt the ball-runner

By the sounds of it he is looking forward to start ripping in to blokes in both at and defence.

If the forwards help out Moses, Idris stands his ground and Nofo doesn't have to cover 2 players, as well as no missed tackles, then out right side defence is all good.

I think our right side will be the BEST in the comp, both attack and defence. Bring on Idrilouma
 
Idris has always been a good hitter in defence..His lateral defence and decision making has largely sucked however…I prey that they have been working hard on this...they say they have...

Defence under fatigue during a game is all about attitude and commitment...We have only ever shown this in patches and hardly ever week in week out..

I long for the Day Wests Tigers Attack with their Defence..
 
I notice Canberra have officially announced Dave Taylor's signature. 1 year contract with a 1 year option in the clubs favour. I really hope that Idris' contract is the same. It would suck if he came back, dominated and went on his way in 2018.

We regularly attack the opposition's score with our defence

Just ask Canberra , we were brutal in that regard
