I notice Canberra have officially announced Dave Taylor's signature. 1 year contract with a 1 year option in the clubs favour. I really hope that Idris' contract is the same. It would suck if he came back, dominated and went on his way in 2018.

Yeah you can see that scenario coming up from a mile away, Idris hits some top form mid-year and immediately the media reports will be "the Roosters, Bulldogs and Brisbane are interested in Idris". You can guarantee it.
Did the club disclose the terms of Idris' contract when he signed? Wonder if there was a 2nd-year option.

I'm guessing this will push Kev to the wing which will be a good result. His defence is nowhere near NRL standard to play anywhere but on the wing.

Which will give Simona a first grader outside him who can catch a late offload. Simona had to just take the tackle every time in 2016 because Rankin couldn't catch them.

And then our left side looks good too.

Idris has always been a good hitter in defence..His lateral defence and decision making has largely sucked however…I prey that they have been working hard on this...they say they have...

Defence under fatigue during a game is all about attitude and commitment...We have only ever shown this in patches and hardly ever week in week out..

I long for the Day Wests Tigers Attack with their Defence..

Great Teams are able to defend back to back sets on their line and defend errors and penalties given away through their Defence under fatigue...they then can attack a team and rattle them into errors with their defence...Wests Tigers have done this when the Moon is Full and on occasion Blue...

When Wests Tigers can consistently do this like Melbourne Brisbane Roosters and Manly prior to last Year we may even consistently make Finals...Hell even bloody St George Illawarra won a Comp on the back of it...

We have already tried to shop Naiqama, Rankin & Lovett around for no takers apparently. Still think this would be a bad move
