If Blair doesn't Sign

Letting Fifita go is the worst judgement since that drummer left the Beatles. Fifita is already better than Blair, and he's leaving because Sheens has backed not one, but two wrong horses. Woods and Dwyer both get a start before Fifita. Sheens picks and sticks, and it's obvious Sheens has decided Fifita is no more than a bench player. We don't care about his attitude off field as long as he's Fifita-the-metre-eater on-field. Especially now that he's leaving the Tigers, he will play both for NSW and Australia in 2012\. Mark my words.

What are the chance that Adam Blair will be announced tonight by Humphries on One HD "the Game Plan show" Anyone with any inside info they would like to spill ?? Me thinks it would be doubtful. Last thing we need to do is fire the Storm up for the clash on the weekend by signing one of their guns

Where I think Fifita is good and seems to have a fair bit of potential, I also think we tend to have a very inflated view of our own players. He is still a long way off a 350 grand player, remember the Sharks have to pay way over the odds to attract players. He still is weak defensively and is engine dosnt do many minutes. At present he is a poor mans Dave Taylor. On the other hand forget Blairs form at present we all know what he can do at all levels,he has been their, will be a great buy

Sharks paying Fifita 350K? Bennett is right that no prop is worth more than 300, especially one playing off the bench. I'll take 20-1 for Fifita playing for Australia OR NSW though. Very tempting odds. We'll see how good Fifita is when he gets under Gallen's tutelage (how to give away stupid penalties and the like).

Spot on. When Fifita starts and does big minutes at the fresh ends of each half, it severely affects his ability to bend the line or hit it hard and thus he starts to crab walk and rely on the fend. We get little value out of him when he starts games.

Not saying he isn't a great player and he won't be missed, he most definitely will be, but if he is going to Cronulla to be a starting prop he will be far less effective with the ball in hand.
