Alright fellow forumers, it's time for a bit of fantasy!
With all the money we have and spots to fill - if you were in charge of recruitment who would you bring in?
If I was in charge of recruitment
You base your squad on the pack, it's so crucial…...
I'd go try to get Marty and Shannon Boyd
While signing on Jai Field or Sean Meaney type fullback - these kids would be superb behind a good strong pack (ala Dufty) and give them good go forward
If not I'd go get Val Holmes and have faith in the current pack
But by going with the cheap option at fullback you're able to bring in a Nathan Cleary also

Assuming we have around 1.4-5 mil to spend after Milne and Suli both getting the sack
Subside 800k of cap money with TPA's valuing to 200k - for a marquee player like Nathan Cleary for 2019
By 2019 Tui's contract will be coming to an end - and I wouldn't renew it, anyone knows how much he is signed for 300-400k?
With around 900-1 mil remaining
Marty would value at around 500-600
Shannon Boyd would value the same 500-600k
By then Sue and Tim Grant will be gone I assume so that frees up cash to sign some young players - Jai Field and Sean Meaney included
