What a list of talent. I would have thought Funaki would be one of the first picked.
@ said:If I was in charge I would have us play at only 2 home grounds for the whole season, that being Leichardt Oval and Campbelltown Stadium. Playing most of our home games at Campbelltown Stadium and only 2 or 3 at Leichardt due to transport issues.

Sorry Joel - been going to both grounds for years. Campbelltown ain’t no picnic regarding transport/parking and I have never experienced atmosphere at Campbelltown that comes anywhere close to Leichhardt. Out of the 2 grounds, Leichhardt is the clear winner.
Sadly though this is a dead debate as neither grounds seem to be financially sustainable.
@ said:They need to build a 35000 league/football stadium around Liverpool with train access.. For inner city dwellers its just that little bit closer than Cambo. They could even build it a fraction closer to the city and we could share it with the Dogs and maybe Souths

That is true, we do make more money playing at ANZ because we have a deal with them. But I heard that deal runs out at the end of this year or maybe next year. So maybe, just maybe there's hope we can play our home games at only Leichardt and Campbelltown. And maybe I was being a bit biast towards Campbelltown stadium about the transport because I'm only a 5 minute drive down the road from it.

I’ll let you in on a secret. Every time I go to Campbelltown, I drive up to the leagues club car park . The attendant asks if I’m going to game or club, I say club - he lets me in. His job is to stop those going to game parking in car park. My kids and I hide our jerseys and get a spot in the car park every time!!
Mate, it would be awesome if Leichhardt and Campbelltown became permanent home grounds. I’d prefer Leichhardt but I understand the Wests link to Campbelltown. Sadly, we don’t recognise the importance of valuing history and tradition. Upgraded boutique grounds such as Leichhardt, Campbelltown, Brookvale, Belmore, Kogarah, would be brilliant- but those days have passed. When we go forwards, sometimes we go backwards!
