If Manly go on and win the Comp

Absolute hard as nails Rugby League club. Probably never been one tougher in the history of the game.

Rubbish - they should have gone the way of Norths. Credit to the players, they are hard as nails, not the club.

Unlike Wests, they didn't learn that the leagues club pumping money into the football club and poaching players was not sustainable. They were still over spending in the late 90's under Arko and blew themselves up. They needed a sugar daddy (Delmege) to survive.

They epitomise everything that is wrong with the game (club self interest) and are a perfect rear view mirror reflection of the game….still playing at Brookvale Oval...seriously, it's 2015, not 1975.

I assume you don't like 'em too much Gary?

They have played two great games in a row.
To beat the Broncos by a big margin and to get home over the Souths, last night was a great effort
As others have said when a coach is leaving teams seem to play harder and better.
Still there are other teams up top they have to beat as well
But they are on a roll.

Souths are the team that need to start panicking in my opinion

Next Month they play Cowboys A , Dogs H ,Brisbane H ,Roosters A

They could be stuck on 28 points playing elimination football

Can only hope Happy - maybe miss out all together. Guess I can dream.

I think you are right Happy, they are going backwards.

Only issue was in our slim Top 8 hopes Souths had to beat Manly on the Top 8 calculator

If the footy gods smile, it will be a manly /cowboys grand final.

The cowboys win convincingly, after scoring one try from a blatant forward pass, the other from a knock on.

That would satisfy me.

More like they will be playing elimination footy, I have no doubt about that.

Yes for sure, Souths are not even a shadow of the team that won the comp last year. They look extremely flat and seem to have no answer to the teams that are up in their face from the start of a game like Manly last night and when we played them several weeks back. Many of the wins they've had this season have not been all that impressive either. Either the loss of Sam Burgess has been an even bigger blow than I expected it would be or they are just suffering the usual hangover from winning the comp - who knows? Perhaps they will improve as the finals series approaches, but I have my doubts.

On Manly, whether you like them or not, you have to admire any team that can bounce back and possibly make the play offs under the crap circumstances they have had to endure this season. I'd love it if they could make the 8 and give the competition a real shake.

I don't dislike Manly at all, despite being an old Westie lol. All that Wests v Manly hatred stuff was such a long time ago, this is a different era. If anything, I'm probably jealous of them - they have such an inspiring and winning culture at the club that has somehow endured through many years of mis-management and turmoil. You just know they are always gonna rise to the occasion no matter what's going on around them. It's something I can only dream of as a Wests Tigers fan :frowning:

Souths will be lucky to finish in the 4\. Sharks or Storm will most likely overtake them. If there's one team that should feel unlucky its the Warriors. They'd be sure things now if SJ didn't go down.

i hate all of the other 15 teams in the league. Probably warriors is the one i hate the least though. I'd be happy for them to win multiple premierships.
I'll see any premiership win by anyone else as another win for the bad guys…

Not sure any team is grubbier than the bulldogs. Geez i hate them. Even without Ennis they are the grubbiest team in the comp.
