If Sheens goes..who would you suggest to be next Aussie coach...

Well lets hope MAL doesn't get anywhere near the Australian Team.

We actually want someone that can coach. Cut to the chase and name Hagen.

I like to see a young bloke given a run

Fittler would be my choice

He might help spark some interest in Test Football

DL always made a point about representing his country and how proud he was of the legacy.

I hope Bellamy doesn't get it.
He will keep Slater, Smith and Cronk around for longer than they deserve.

Not to mention the fact that it would be yet another instance where being shonky gets rewarded with positions among rep teams. Get Gus to do it, he would bring a bit of spirit to the Aussie jersey. For some reason he doesn't seem to be keen,I would of thought he would of seen it as a crowning moment of his distinguished coaching career.

Probably wants to keep what's left of his hair. Pity though , he's one person who understands what Origin is about
Bellamy showed that he had no inkling of what it's about. And probably never will,
I wouldn't like to see Potter there and I don't think he would come into calculations anyway . While being a good enough bloke his man management skills weren't too good when he was here. So I doubt he is the man for that job

Jim Dymock would be my choice, I was hoping he'd get the origin gig.

Brown will get an NRL gig soon enough, otherwise he'd be a good choice.

Well who ever gets in must fit in with the Dad's Army age group , i think Geo or happy would be my 2 choices to have the smoothest transition

Meninga 100%

Hell No.
It's hard enough now to get the two state groups to come together as a team. With him as Coach, it would be a disaster he is too embedded in the Qld system to be able to pull the Kangaroos together.

Exactly, you want someone who would be unbiased within that role and get a team to gel…

Mal will be offered the Australian coaching position, particularly given his SOO coaching record. From all reports his man management skills are highly regarded whilst he relies on his support staff re game plan/tactics etc.

Yeah, good choice. The team looks stale and needs a fresh new face to front the national team. The likes of Bellamy or meninga (could he work with the rats and filth) wouldnt add anthing to the team. Fittler also seems one of the few former players that wants to promote the game even on his own time.
